Hi, all.

As you know, I decided to depart the position of Chief Administrator of Mistress Destiny’s Femdom Forums. It’s taken a while to close that loop, mostly because I needed to tie off a number of loose ends, and (most importantly) find somebody talented enough and willing to take on the rather substantial (and time-consuming) responsibilities. But now the most difficult part of that is over...

I want to thank DownUnder007 for kindly agreeing to take on the Chief Administrator job here at Mistress Destiny’s Femdom Forums. As you know he was my fellow administrator for quite a while, and has both my and John’s full support (John was darn near giddy when he heard the news). DU007 is both a capable administrator and a very experienced Forum leader. He brings to our beloved forum talents we need here; ones he’s demonstrated so frequently in the past.

DU007 has been dedicated to the improvements you’ve seen here over the last several years, and it’s no mystery that he was directly responsible for many of them – most significantly in his authoring the “Civility Rule” for the Facesitting Forums – which I then brazenly plagiarized for the rest of MDFF – that created here an environment fit for the true purpose of MDFF: a place for people do discuss their fetishes.

I had a long conversation with DU007 regarding his taking the reins, and during that he expressed that he was in tune with the essentials of how MDFF exists today (hardly surprising since he has been an important part of how we got where we are). So, though all such future decisions will be in his hands, we’re to expect a smooth transition without severe and unexpected changes of direction.

About that, please help him and his Moderator Team, and support their efforts in the same way you’ve supported the MDFF Staff for the last almost five years. To a large degree this place is what you, the members, make of it. An essential part of that is the support you give to those volunteers who support you. So now DU007 has accepted the task of leading that effort. I know you all respect him, as I certainly do, and will help him make this place even better than it is right now. There may be things he wants to do differently to the way I did them: that’s his privilege. He will likely have a different style of doing this job: that’s to be expected and only natural. Remember: he’s not me, and shouldn’t be expected to be me; he’s himself and his own person. And that’s exactly what we members and MDFF need.

So, please join me in celebrating DownUnder007’s acceptance of what I know to be a very difficult job. This is a great thing, and I enthusiastically look toward the future.
