ATTENTION storywriters, we are being cheated.

I was browsing through some of my links for story sites, when I came across this one...

http://fetishstories.adultnations.com/main.html

It seems to contain mostly stories from this site, but when I click on the link to view a story, our tags that most of us put in it with our name as author has been conveniently removed.

Although the web master says they are stories he got from years of surfing the net, I noticed most of them are new ones from here (like both of groundviews stories). He also says on main page that if you recognize your story he'll give you credit on the main page, but there isn't a single name there.

Jeez, if your just gonna repost recent stories from this site, you could at least have the decency to take the time and copy the name of the author who posted/wrote it and NOT remove the name when it has already been included in it.

Even though, as a new writer, I was proud to see my story posted somewhere else, I was quite ticked off to see that my name as author was removed from my story. Personally, I have no problem with my stories being posted around the net by others, as long as they include the title/author header that I specifically put in for that purpose, and they don’t claim it as their own.

If you have ever written anything on this forum here, I urge you to go to the above mentioned site and complain to the webmaster to quit removing our names from the headers on our stories. We put a lot of work into writing our stories and it really sucks to get cheated out of recognition for them.

Calming down and getting off my soapbox now.

Looks like he's been ripping pictures off other people's site without giving credit. The pity is that these people still probably get lots of hits - shows how much credibility both surfers and webmasters have!!

I'm going to get Mistress Sara's attention on this. She will have to know that her story was stolen from our message board.

Footsniffa if you haven't noticed Mistress Sara hasn't visited the board lately. Although my e-mail will get their attention.
If he had stolen my stories and I haven't visited the board lately would you have given me the same consideration? Please understand this I'm doing it for the right reasons.

no, if you were doing it for the right reasons, you wouLd have just sent her an emaiL. instead, you came here and posted in a bLatant dispLay of ass-kissing (which is your right). her stories, by far, are not the onLy ones piLfered from here, yet you are onLy making a point to notify her. so in regards to your question, no i wouLdn't personaLLy notify you... i'd just Let you (and everyone) know in a generaL post, just Like soLeman did.

WRONG ANSWER footsniffa. Well so much for consideration then. Well let's hope that you write a story that is so good that whoever is stealing it steals it while you are on vacation for say maybe 3 to 4 weeks and you don't have internet access which means you cannot get to the board. So don't ask me to write you then mister!

To ALL AUTHORS of all the stories that is here. You should write this person and tell him to either credit the stories properly or remove them from his site! To me it is cut and dry here.

footsniffa

hey, i never asked you to notify me personaLLy... if i were femaLe, and named "mistress footsniffa" i'm sure i'd get my own speciaL posts from you.. what i shouLd of said in my initiaL post, was stop being such a brown-noser

Thank you Solemann for that heads up warning. I have sent an
e-mail to that site asking that my stories be removed since I did not give permission to post my material there.

Lets see what happens.

Ken’s story “Dry” is also on that site, as well as

“Welcome to work”.

Remember the internet has no delete key. :)

Latest news:
I received an e-mail saying that it would be removed. (Clearer?)

Cheated?! I asked authors to mail me about copyrights on the site, I told about site on these forums, and nobody take care until someone shouts "we are cheated!". Then everyone begins to accuse...

I didn't earn a penny on the site. It was put on free hosting, without any banners. Everything I got was wrist pain from working with Photoshop.

Who will be the first?

kokm_p if you are going to use their stories please credit them to the authors who wrote the stories. If you don't then remove them from your site please. I'd rather give the authors credit for writing such great stories.

2groundview: i didn't say that! what are you trying to do?
i wrote that i removed the stories you asked, and if you still can see them, it means that they are in you browser or proxy or web server cache.

2Syphonboy: you forgot to add that I started WWII, and I eat kids for breakfast.

2Footslave3000: use? i was not going to use the stories. i never told i was author of any. i got nothing from it. the page was made for YOU ALL. a lot of good sites and boards are closed, a lot of stories lost. most of you are keeping them on hdd for yourself, but i decided to share with all.
i asked authors (the message was on main page) to mail me so i could credit stories (i knew only a few), but it's easier to shout loud and send viruses than write one message.

2somebody-who-sent-me-virus: it didn't work.

Yes, we where being cheated out of proper credit for our stories.

I mentioned in my original post... "He also says on main page that if you recognize your story he'll give you credit on the main page"... My intetion was not to start a flame war, but to inform the other authors here to go and claim their stories, in hopes you would take care in the future not to omit there names.

Now you claim "i only knew a few", yet me and groundview, for sure, always put headers in our stories with our names as author. Our headers seamed to be removed before they got uploaded to your site. Even if it was an oversight when you saved them, the stories are so new here that it would not have taken much effort on your part to look them up.

Jeezzz-he's not making any money off them.. Just let him credit the auther... I know these stories are not copyrighted... They were posted here just to be enjoyed... And he is right--Boards and Sites come and go....Who knows we might find some stories that we have not read................

I agree with SoleMann, when you take the time and effort to write stories and they get reposted without crediting the author. Well it's like a slap in the face. As for me I don't mind having my stories reposted elsewhere. I always put that at the end of my stories " AS LONG AS MY NAME STAYS ATTACHED". Well it's an issue that's been brought up before and will probably come up again and again.

Lets put it this way. How much do you want writers to post their stories here if all they can expect is that their efforts to be ripped off by someone saying I don’t know who wrote that story, when clearly every story here is signed.

And if we, the writers, (in this case SoleMann- proper credit!) stumble across it on the net, and show proof you’ll be big about it, and then put our names on it. I call that plagiarism. Yes he did remove my story, when I e-mailed him, but do I have to chase down every errant posting?
Why bother?

Should I just post pictures. :)

somebody took control of my site, deleted everything and changed password. now everyone is satisfied.

i will repeat - i did it for you. i posted link here (just search for my posts), and the link was in my signature. I posted a poll about my site in Facesitting For Everybody forum. there were avg 50 visitors every day, and they all came from here. why did't you say anything then?

why there were no credits? because i don't keep stories in html pages. i keep them in plain text, so i could transform to any format. i kept them only for myself, so there were no information about author. some were 3-4 years old. only a few months ago i decided to put everythig on the web so everyone could read. that's why i asked authors to mail me. did anyone said his name or asked to remove the story (until yesterday)? no

some can say: you can not repost any story that is not written by you. ok. i won't. i do not have site anymore, it belongs to somebody of you (that was quick), and i promise i will not open any new. ok?

well, i made a mistake. i thought there was a need of such site. now i only regret for the hours i spent writing software that transforms stories to clean html files and creates indexes. i was very naive thinking i'm doing something to others.

now status quo is restored. authors, please continue to write such excellent stories.

Why do these gripes have get so out of hand on this board, aren't we all here for the same reason, we all have a foot fetish in some way, l like reading stories and l have trouble finding sites with good trampling and human furniture stories, l wish l had of found that site earlier, as it is l just started reading a story and now the site is gone.

kok_p if there is any way of getting a copy of those stories from you l would apreciate it, l have coppied stories from here and other places and never bothered to copy who wrote it myself, and you always find people asking for copies of a particular story they like but can't find any more, isn't it better to one day come across your story and feel good to be remembered and if your name is not on it email the person that posted it.

Did anyone bother to email kok_p before they started to attack him on the board, l thought this was suposed to be a friendly place where a group of people with the same interests could get together and enjoy each others offerings.

If you have a problem with someone why not contact them personaly and sort it out that way with out involing everyone else, if you get no satisfaction that way then make it public, a lot of these problems should never have reached the board.

O.K. case closed. He apoligised. He knows now to get permission before posting someone else’s work.

I’m happy now. :rasta:

Now all I have to do is finish chapter 18, so where was I?

kokm_p,

I’m sorry to hear that some immature person tried to send you a virus and that your site got hacked/deleted. I never intended for that to be the outcome of my original post, it was mainly to inform the other authors here.

Groundview,

Talk about bad timing on my part. I’m just about ready to release part 8 of my story, but it’s no competition for chapter18 of yours. Now my story will get no hits/replies

Footslave3000

I can tell you this. I usually try to comment on each story when I can. Also to SoleMann please get part 8 done? I really liked what you done so far. You will get the hits that's for sure.:) Now please get part 8 done or I'll:cry: ok?

Hey there Solemann! :bananawav

You go and post your part 8, I'm no where near ready with my part 18. You got a green Light.

Wow, I step away from the mike for a few days and look what happens! Heh heh.

I agree with steponme on this one. We all need to settle down a bit (yeah, imagine me saying that. Talk about ironic).

kokm_p, if all is as you say, then I’m sorry that you feel dismissed and rebuffed. It seems to me that you were trying to do the right thing (though you may not have been as diligent as you could have been, I guess). People make mistakes, and efforts to benefit our community, like making stories more available, are to be praised and respected. Likewise, a great deal of attention should be used to assure that credit is given to storywriters in the interests of propriety.

I’ve never exercised copyright authority over my stories, though I’ve always requested that credit be given if my stuff is posted independently. My policy is unchanged. But kokm_p, you must be a world-class masochist to have re-assembled Dry and re-posted it, heh heh. Herculean doesn’t even begin to describe the work that must have been involved.

I’m a little confused about one thing, though. footsniffa accused Footslave3000 of being an ass-kisser. Um, isn’t that one of the reasons that some of us come here? Aren’t public displays of obeisance and belly-crawling (if truly sincere) to be rather expected, if not obligatory, in these fora? I could understand footsniffa’s response if this were in a vanilla setting. In fact I’d react in exactly the same way. I loathe brown-nosing twits in my everyday life, but coming here is happily cathartic; a place where we can cut loose our alternate selves, which are just as real as the people we are when in more conventional environments.

Now, I’m going to go look for Ms Sara; rumor has it that she has a pair of dusty boots in need of a good bootlicking.
