Photo Manipulation Programs

Panty Sniffer, Trail, Coldshot, and other photo manipulators:
I am about to trade up to a computer with a much larger capacity. I want to have all the usual bells and whistles, including a program to manipulate photographs. Not skillful retouching, the way you guys do, but just basic retouching, such as removing unwanted people, or cropping in a different manner. I know there are quite a few programs that will enable me to do this, and I wanted to get some idea from you guys as to which are the easiest to learn and most user-friendly. Thanks in advance for any advice or cautions you can give me.
To all computer pros:
What's the best way to transfer data from the old computer to the new one? Right now, it looks as if I'll probably use LapLink, unless somebody knows a quicker and better way.

one way is to take out the old hard drive and put it in your new computer and copy or transfer all the files.

I dont know which is the easyest program to use, but Adobe has several versions of their famous photoshop. I have photoshop 6 and photoshop Business edition which came with my scanner. Business edition is very easy to use.

I agree with Panty sniffer, I've got Adobe Photoshop 6 as well and I found it very easy to use and it's got all the basic stuff that you need. And the name is coolshot. LOL :D I hope this helps. :)

I have also used Adobe photoshop and corel photo house wich is a very easy program to start with.

But I prefer to use Paint shop pro (http://www.jasc.com/products/psp ) ,
wich also got most possibilities, and are easy to use:bananawav
