UK here too but I have never called Facesitting "Queening". I had always had the impression "Queening" was a Japanese term for FS (Of course I am bound to be wrong as I usually am and will have many posts correcting me.:p )

I dont know the exact orgins to be honest. But to me the word queening reinforces the females position of superiority by implying that the male is below her in rank. Not that I believe this is the case in anyway on an intelectual level!

I strongly agree with you about term "Queening". As a submissive, I far prefer the authoritarian implications of the word. For me, the act is an expression of a Mistress's superiority and a demonstration of how far beneath her a slave is. It hard not to feel inferior (as a slave) when your nose is forced up against someone's asshole. It is a form of humiliation and subjugation.
