I just posted a thread with a link to a video. Someone responded "virus no thanks" I tried to reply to apologize because that did not happen to me when I went to the site, but the thread is gone. What happened?
Also to the person that made the reply, sorry, I did not get the exe pop up like you did so will run a virus scan.
What do you think happened?

Well if a moderator deleted it, it would be nice to know why so I don't do it again, If it was because the other person got a virus? I certainly did not know there was one. Or was it some other reason.
Just cureous because I rarely find something worth posting here, when I do it gets deleted.
You weren't banned because it was obviously not on purpose. Is that not good enough?
You're right. From now on when anyone posts files with a virus in them, we'll take OUR time to lovingly walk them through the problem. Perhaps over dinner and a show, our treat?

I did not mean for you to take offense. I've seen other posts where the moderator edited the post saying something like "this content deleted because . . ." It happened so quickly from the time I posted the original to when I tried to post an apology and found it was missing, I thought the server had a hickup or something. Thats all I was wondering about.
Again sorry if you took my inquiry the wrong way, but thanks for deleting it so no one else gets a virus.
No worries, good sir! Shit happens, but this place is just too busy to be able to gently explain to people why their thread was deleted when they already know there was a virus issue.. ;)
Carry on and thanks for trying to contribute...I'm sure the next one will be fine! :D
