Dear folks,
I just finished writing a long and winding finale to this story series, as we all know now that people hate for stories to not end and leave its readers hanging. But after I submitted it, I got a "refresh" notice, and then I was disconnected, and now I doubt it was received! I just don't know if I have it in me to write that again. If I don't pick it up, and if it did not get received by the forum before disconnection, please forgive me.

It looks like it's gone. Damn. I hate that. Well, let's just say that Dr. Sanders humiliated Mr. Cole in front of the Racism and Discrimination Class, even though he got an "A," by making him kiss her shoes and her feet in front of the class, and then put a collar and leash on him, and offered him to the other non-white women in the class for temporary slave duties. Then he ended up at his Master's house, where while he licked her feet as he lay under her wingback chair, and then she rested her soles on his upturned face, she told him that she had indeed sold him to her 4 honky-hating black female cousins in backroads Louisiana, to work the plantation. They were coming the next day. Then Keesha arrived, whip in hand and shoes being kicked off her feet, and she got drinks for her and Ms. Lambert as the story ended. Again, sorry, but I don't think I can drum up the time, inspiration and effort to rewrite all that again. I do write at the screen, not on paper. I'm truly sorry! I hope you enjoyed the series. I love writing about and fantasizing about what I have written, and hope some of you did, too.

This won't help now, but it might in the future. The problem with writing a lengthy story is that the connection sort of gets bored, and so even though you still can type, you aren't realy there anymore, sort of like my mind, it just wonders of if you take too long. The solution is simple. Type offline on something like word pad. Then when you are ready, go to the post screen, copy and paste and, walla(did I spell that right) Good luck, and I hope to read other of your work in the future.

Livingfurniture,
Thanks for the idea. I'd wondered about trying somethinglike that but was afraid I'd botch it up. After last night's ordeal and losing all that work, I'll take the chance and try your way next time. There's a first time for everything, right? Thanks too for your kind words about looking forward to other tales I might write.

This brings up another advantage to writing it off line and then copy n' pasting it, you can run it through a spell checker. Something I will rely heavily on if i start writing some stuff.
p.s. keep up the good work

Hi Aramis!
That’s how I do it! (Cut And Paste)
Plus it gives you more time to think without the “stress of time”, and modem “time outs!”

Yes it is a lot of work and sucks to lose it. We would all be forever grateful if you could finish that story, it was awesome.
