To the Mods... can I consolidate to one thread?

Hiya... I was just thinking the other day about how difficult it is to keep track of the various disparate threads I've had going and was wondering if it would be kosher to consolidate my various pic series into a single thread. That'd be much easier for me to keep track of and keep (reasonably) updated so various pic series can keep moving along. Not sure I'd do it, but in principle would that be okay? Thanks

Yes, it could be done, Tguyus - its a bit fiddly to do, but, I'd do it for you, mate, because your work is a special contribution to MDFF...


We'd maybe do a consolidation once for you....If you then didn't like it, it'd be hard to 'unpick' - so, you need to be sure.


You'd need to post a list of thread links to the various threads you wanted to consolidate into one thread....And indicate which thread will be the 'Master' thread....Posts would appear in date order of posts, within the consolidated thread (not in neat groups of pic series)....

I could probably work with that.

Oh wow. That is very generous of you. I wasn't thinking of putting you to any work, I was just thinking of reposting the pics myself from each of the recent key threads so they were all in one place. So it was more just asking if it was okay to repost. Sorry I wasn't clearer, and thanks for the very kind message. cheers!

When/if you create a new thread - to combine your pics into it - I'd suggest that you indicate that it is a combined thread with some re-posted material, in the thread title...(just so you don't get folks saying: ' seen this before'...etc)...
