Bad attitudes on this forum...

I have been reading this forum for over a year, and usually enjoy reading the posts. In the last week or so though, it hasn't been much fun. Every thread seems to turn into some kind of p***ing contest, an argument, or some attempt at weak self-promotion.

While I admire anyone who is enthusiastic about this topic, likes to contribute or is willing to set up their own group on the net, I have to say that "King Monty" is making this a less enjoyable place to be these days. For someone who is relatively new, I have seen them pick fights with people whose have posted here far longer than I have been here. The arguments, insults and self-promotion are ruining this board, IMHO.

Does anyone agree, or disagree with this? Should we put it to a vote?

Anyone who proffeses to be educated is not educated at all... for those who are educated know that they still have a lot to learn. The egotistical, childish ramblings of this self-proclaimed king has irked me to the point of writing. King, if you have a kingdom that you rule, please stay there, and don't attempt to invade this peaceful land. If anyone can do something about this... Please do. Thank you.

Unless i were to either hack into this forum, or convince Daddo or thound to allow me to vote more than once (the board limits you to one vote per member--as i am sure you found out when you tried to vote multiple times), i assure you i voted only once. And for what its worth, i have not sought out extra votes one way or the other...i just let the poll take its course.

I could have created a multitude of new users and voted, however I am sure again that both the moderators would have figured that out and would probably (and rightfully so) ban me. Besides, i have neither the time or the incentive to play stupid games.

By the way, just a hint. Repeatedly posting a message doesn't give you another vote, as you apparently tried.

As for it being old, i started it within the last week--as you can see by the date on the first post.

My purpose was to quickly gauge how people felt about this new "attitude" you have brought to the board. You feel your contributions give you licence to be rude, insulting, and fill the board up with self promoting affirmations. I think most of the people on this board would willingly sacrifice whatever contributions you make to avoid reading one of your self serving, antagonistic posts ever again.

You have already been warned by the moderators once...why don't you take the hint and tune your attitude down.

Monty, i have better uses for my time than to get into a p***ing contest with a skunk.

At last count there were 43 people who think you should tone down your attitude. Only 2 people responded otherwise.

You have been told already to cool it. You have gotten involved in at least five separate "arguments" on this forum, with more than five different people. People, who i might add, have been on here much longer than you.

From the moment you have arrived, you have screamed for attention, and clamoured for some type of recognition.

By the way, anyone can attain the "status" of Senior Member by default if they post a specific number of posts. Other than self-promotion, continually advertising your Yahoo group (and insulting anyone who doesn't kiss your a-- about it), and resorting to childish arguments, you really haven't added anything of value here.

You have to be at least eighteen to be in here, so there is no other reason for your behaviour.

You're right...i responded to his post here before i read John's posting further down. I tried to be polite, but persuasive and convince King Monty to change his attitude for the board (and his own) benefit. I even thought he quieted down over the weekend, but unfortunately that was shortlived with the highly inflammatory--especially at this point in history--Saddam/Bin Laden comparisons.

However, i've found it's like bashing your head against the wall. To quote Murtaugh from Lethal Weapon, "I'm too old for this sh--".

I'll save myself the headache, and hopefully the board returns to the peaceful fun place it has been up until the last few weeks. Better to save my breath for facesitting...

You are right editor and lionhart7! I have already stopped replying to his insults! Moreover you can put his nick to the "ignore" list and get rid of him! Let's return to the original spirit of this forum! And be ready...I am preparing a new thread with Asslicking Series...More than 50 never seen (I hope ;) ) pics till now!!! Just push the "user cp" button on the upper left corner and then the "ignore list" button. Write his nick on the text box and update it. So you will not able to see his posts!

I believe that it is better to ignore someone rather than destroying the nature of this board.

John if you have any problems about using this option then please let us know and we will not use it. I am not sure if this is the right way but I am not able to think any other solution (...at least for me)!
