Question for Smother.com Luke

Smother.com Luke, I've just downloaded the SS261_01_1000 from smother.com and entered my username and password etc. The clip plays, but the audio is really fast (like a chipmunk). Obviously it means I can't hear whats being said. The video plays fine, its just the audio.

Any ideas why this is happening? As its only happening on that one clip

It's encoded incorrectly and since the clip is 4 years old I cant re-upload it. Sorry, hopefully you're enjoying the site besides that.

Ah right no worries, thats cleared it up. The sites still brilliant otherwise!

i checked my copy, it's not encoded incorrectly, it's the newer sound translations in media players. my WMP 10 does it too, but VLC and zoomplayer sync it fine.

it's why i use zoomplayer for most things.

btw luke, did you guys ever finish the sitter videos clips sets u were posting? i'd really like to finish those, the newer content is ok, just not up my alley as much. (too short [holds]compared to even the ss200-260 range)

We've got a lot that we're working on right now Rennoch, but not anything pertaining to sitter clips.Sorry you're not nuts about the new stuff, I'll take what you said about holds into consideration.

i was wondering if the older sitter clips had been finished, the 23-29 that had still to be posted from a long while back. sitter's 1-22 had been posted already... not new content, they were almost finished from before. were they taken down?

Cheers for the suggeston rennoch, I usually use VLC for everything, but it wont play smother.com clips because they're encoded. I tried opening it in WMP10, download media playing rights, and then playing in VLC but it still wont encode, not the video or sound, I think its to do with the DRM encryption.

Can you tell me how you managed to run the encoded clips in VLC, as I really hate WMP lol
