As with my other reviews, everything said here is my own opinion and I respect everyone’s right to agree or disagree with anything or everything I say.
With that said, I’ll crack on with the review.
When I first noticed facesitting material was on the internet, I became aware of facesat.com, and loved their sample clips. When I finally got some money I decided to join that site, but found it had moved to smother.com long ago.
With that in mind I decided to join smother.com, and paid the highest member fee I have paid to date, $29.99, (which is £15 to us living in the UK) for 1 months membership.
As soon I had paid using my debit card I received instant membership, and started searching for the full versions of the facesat.com preview clips that I had loved for so long.
Clicking the ‘Videos’ link took me to a total treasure trove of clips, unfortunately the clips are all presented on one page, and although they are listed in date order, finding a particular clip is extremely difficult as each clips has a small thumbnail picture and a date, and obviously a link to the clip.
As you can imagine, I had no idea when the clips featured in the previews I had seen were made, or if they were even on the site, it was like a needle in a haystack!. After looking at the thumbnails I spotted one I remembered and clicked the link. Clicking a thumbnail takes you to the page where you can download the clip(s), view the picture gallery of screen caps, and for newer clips, view the high-res digital camera clips.
Almost every video has a picture gallery, although some older ones don’t. The pictures are very high quality, and even the screen caps are nicely presented and look great.
I havn’t had any reason to even click the ‘support’ option as everything has run so smoothly, so I can’t comment on that.
Back to the videos, all the videos I have viewed have been excellent, I can’t complain about the clips in the slightest. I can, however, complain about the navigation.
As I said earlier, finding the clips I was looking for was really difficult, as the clips are named ‘Smother Stories 468’ or ‘SS290’ etc… so finding what the clip contains is difficult, if not impossible. Some clips do contain a few lines on the content, but the vast majority don’t. I can’t help but think that with the vast amount of preferences within the facesitting scene, every clip should have a few lines saying whats in the clip, or a few bullet points like
• Ass Worship
• Nude
• Reverse
• Front
etc etc. This wouldn’t take much extra effort and would make finding what your after a lot easier.
This leads me to my next problem, searching. As far as I can find there is absolutely no search option, so if you wanna see a clip of a particular style of facesitting or mistress, even if you know the name of the mistress your looking for, you have to rely on the small thumbnails to find what your looking for. Obviously you could click each video link to see the mistress featured, but even then, some clips simply don’t tell you.
Also, if videos had bullet points as mentioned earlier then searching could possibly be made easier by having a search option with check boxes to find clips with exactly what you want.
This isn’t a major thing, as no site I’ve seen so far has this feature, but with such little info on each clip finding what you want can be very hard.
Right, I’ll try to wrap this up asap so I’ll move onto the free sites. When you join smother.com you are given instant access to 20 free sites, and although I’ve only visited 3 of these sites, they seem to be quite poor, but they’re free, so I have no complaints.
Right, quickly back to the clips, nearly all the clips come in both 512k (roughly 10 megs, medium quality) and 1000k (30-60 megs, depending on clip, excellent quality) options, which is great for those with slower internet connections or limited amounts of downloads per month. However, most videos are split into clips, with some having 1 and some having as many as 12, how I appreciate that this is to help people who just wanna quick clip, but theres no mention of what each clip contains, so if your looking for the a specific part in the video, your stuck with trial and error.
Also, I would have liked the option to download a whole movie, instead of it being split up into clips, by which I mean have a list of all the clips, and at the bottom have a link to download the full video. This is only a minor complaint however.
I know this review seems a bit like whine, but its all comments which I feel are valid, and I would like to finish by saying that overall smother.com represents excellent value for money, and every single clip is excellent. I am very very pleased with the sheer amount of clips and the high quality of each clip, and will defiantly be keeping my membership.
