Living in the uk where modem connections are so slow that a snail can type a 10`000 word essay before i`ve got onto some sites im having problems with anaconda.com and think I may have wasted my money. as im still using a crappy 56k connection the videos on anaconda are an absolute load of crap either all sound jerky slow pics etc a fault of the modem I know but most sites eg smother.com and fetish.com allow you to right click the links and save the mpgs to hard disk where they can be viewed as intended, anaconda appears not to let you do this. do any of you guys know anyway round this. i`ve e-mailed anaconda and they just ignored me so i`l be cancelling my membership to this site shortly anyway. any help would be appreciated.

hey,
i have no motivation other than just helping out....i don't want any of the clips, etc....but i think i could probably help out (truth is i have WAY too much free time, looking for a job and need a break, and sometimes check out this forum and a bit overbearing at times, which i'll improve upon)....but anyway i know most of the tricks in the book to get certain files from certain sites, and if you are a member, i think you deserve to get what you are paying for....SOOO, if you have a chat program of some kind, we can meet on one of them (i use yahoo messenger, aol instant messenger, icq, and mirc programs if you are familiar w/ any of those) and i will talk-walk you through getting whatever files you want (if i can't figure it out, not saying i'm some king of internet, but it probably means the site is using a newer technology that i don't know how to get around, and probably can't be gotten around...but i will try to help...
u can email me at aaafacesitme@yahoo.com with your username and which program, and i'll do my best to hook you up...if i don't hear from ya, good luck man....i could list several ways to get the file from this post, but it woud take me forever....

(i used to do tech support for an extremely complex telephony product that many telco customers would have no idea about, and i would have to step them through things that had no computer knowledge, etc...so i would look forward to helping as a challenge, and it's fun for me...i was born a troubleshooter and i need the practice....damn i almost sound like i'm begging you to let me help you, man i need help....haha)

Skirtlover - If you're having trouble with streaming videos from Anaconda.com, I have a little 'trick' for you. If you are viewing one of the movies from Anaconda Theater, there is a way to download the entire movie to your hard drive. The Anaconda website says that these movies are not meant to be downloaded, but unless you want to have your viewing experience interrupted every 30 seconds, I would recommend following these instructions:
Begin viewing the high-speed version of the movie (the one designed for DSL). It will undoubtedly be continuously buffering on your dial-up connection, but don't worry.
At the bottom of your Windows Meda Player, there will be a little bar that shows how much of the total movie is buffered. Wait until it reaches 100%, then go to your File menu, and Save As. Easy! Now you can watch the movie uninterrupted.

Any streaming video you play to it's entirety will be on your local hard drive in your temporary internet files. Just let the movies play, regardless of how jerky they may be over your connection, when you watch them off your hard drive they will be fine.
