mfx video downloads

hi guys,

i recently purchased a download from mfx video. The payment has been approved etc. etc. - and yes - you've guessed it - NO DOWNLOAD.
when i try and click on the download button i get redirected to the main site page, and when i try to save the target it just saves as the main page.
I have sent an e-mail to them about it, but as yet have had no response.

does anyone out there know what is going on, or does anyone know if i'm doing something wrong??
please, i'd appreciate any help one can give.

I get so frustrated sometimes when I don't get what I pay for on the net! What I usually do is try to get a real person on the phone. When I go that route I usually get results. :cool:

Good idea Rich, but I think that the UK to Brazil phone call may cost more than the video download in this case! :(

I had no problem last weekend when I d/l LM051. Three files total 219mb. Took 20 minutes total. Just right click on the file, save target as and its done.

Send email to them on the email you got stating the problem.

thanks smotherme for the advice, however i have already tried all the things you have suggested, and to no avail:( :(

when i try 'save target as' it just saves it as a web page, and then when i open that it says 'page cannot be displayed' -
and when i try and open it from it's location, i get redirected to their main site page.
i have also e-mailed them twice now, with as yet no response.

I went to their site, and tried to download their free sample, but only get this message:
"please, to download any file, use the main page" and with a warning sign . Like this:http://www.mistressdestiny.com/forums/images/icons/icon4.gif .
Maybe they have some problems with the site right now, and it will be all right later?
But also you could try to open it with some different players, like zoom-player or DivX. That sometimes work with such problems.

Just in case this might be the problem.. their site acts strange sometimes if you use some kind of firewall.. I do, and had the sort of problem you describe when downloading free pics from them...
So if you're using a firewall?, or some other internett protection, try and disable it! -and reload the site.. it worked for me..

It´s me again... I forgot to tell Mr. Chairboy, the problem you are having it is becasue you are clicking on Save as Target... If you do that you will save a web page file...

DO NOT click on Save as Target, just click on the word DOWNLOAD..

When you surf thru the free section of MFX video, you see lots of movies and pictures.

When you join the site you find out that they spoon feed you a couple of movies/pic sets of each category. This is of course to keep you signed up month after month.

Problem is, most sites give you full access to all their content when you pay $20.

This site is a total rip off!!
