You know...I would care a little more if I weren't so pissed at romanvideo right now...

I payed to have the 3 day trial...

1st day...I went on...80% of all the clips don't work because they use a file type not supported by: Windows Media Player(version 9), Quicktime, or Realplayer...

2nd day...my login was denied...I emailed to find out what was up...and they told me I'd been passing out my password and login...:2guns: :2guns: :2guns: ...well...why would I do that with a 3 day trial anyway...I NEVER passed out my password...as stated in my reply...

3rd day...nothing...no reply...no answer...so I lost my money and my time and my dignity...well that was fun...I'm sure i'll be trying THAT website again...

You are probably only one in 700 people who can't play the movies on the site. In the members section, it clearly states you need Windows Media player version 7 or above or Real Player 9 to play the videos. It says nothing about Quicktime.

Second, the reason your account was disabled is because our security script blocked you out because your username and password had logged in from multiple computers, which leads one to believe your password was traded.

If you say it wasn't, how can you explain the 5 NETWORK IP addresses associated with your username? You either have an IP spoofing software application (which would be foolish to use on ANY site) or you gave your password to someone. There is no other way possible that your machine could generate random IP addresses. That is why the IRC created subnetting, to prevent people from having the same IP addresses all over the world at the same time.

So you claims are unsubstantiated and you are pissed because your account was disabled and now you are trying to bash our site because you can't join again!

Actually, Bubba, you are incorrect. Heckron is an AOL user and you need to have software that deals with AOL users differently. AOL makes wide use of proxy servers and their IP's can change on the fly. I've seen as many as 20 IP's from the same user within an hours time. Odds are that this is what your software detected. If you are blocking AOL users that come from 5 different IP's, you are going to end up with alot of pissed off customers.

You are right about the random IP address but its only for the last two Octets of the address. AOL is on a Class B network so the first two octets (xxx.xxx) are static. The last two octets are dynamic.

Whenever a user dials into the AOL network, they are assigned a static IP address with the first two octets (xxx.xxx) and the last two octets are randomly assigned based on available IP addresses in the DHCP pool.

In some rare cases in largely populated areas, they are on a Class A network meaning that only the first octet is static and the last 3 are dynamic.

I verified this with AOL's technical support so that wasn't what the problem was.

I said this before in your rallying post and i just cant make the math why you would need people to work for you for free really.
Maybe if you explained it better to me i would eventually get it.

There´s Just an endless advertising of your commercial site in this forum from what i´ve seen.
Its of course up to John,not me or anyone else,but i think that im at least entitled to an opinion about it since its aimed at me as a forum reader.
I´ve seen a lot of owners of commecial sites posting in here wich either seems to do it out of interest in the visitors as their humble servants(Princess Cali) and its a give and take situation here on the forum.Or like the poster Nylonwomen wich at least have some free content to provide the posters with when he advertises his site.
From what i´ve seen from your posts and your site preview,you give almost none,one or 2 pics in all your site promoting posts i´ve seen,i´ll give you that.

Oh,and i also see you use that nifty "If the trial is not canceled in 3 days, your membership will automatically
renew every 30 days" feature on your site,for the customers convenience and benefit im sure.
I´ve heard that neat explanation before when asking why i should pay for a new membership period when i´ve just forgot to cancel it,but then again,i guess that´s what many owners of sites are counting on when using it.

My point with the player is that it clearly states how to obtain the free player on the site and links you directly to the site.

You have obviously not seen it or you would know what you are talking about.

I contribute lots of free pics on this board and on my site in the "whats new" area but you dont even bother to take a look and just want to whine and cry like a little baby!

One more thing I wanted to clarify: What I meant by "this could have been you ..." was that I posted an ad asking guys if they wanted to be in a video and nobody responded so they missed out on a great opportunity to be trampled by a gorgeous playboy playmate! I wasn't putting down anyone at all.

What i do like is to express my opinion about something when i feel the urge for it like i just did.It wasnt flaming but very much to the point on every point i made.
You do know what a flame war is right?They usually go like "get a life!" or something like that with no real constructive criticism in it.

I wont go into any specific details about your customers complaints with your site since that is just something that can be sorted out(if you really want to)between you and him.
I just reacted to the way you responded to him with your "smacking him on the head" reply.

IN regards to finding guys to be in our videos, I'm not desperate. I have guys lined up for the next several shoots.

I wanted to find guys who can handle heavy trampling with lots of pain inflicted on their bodies by the women. That is the difficult part.

I really don´t know what you are so upset about - we (the users of this board) had an offer - we didn´t show up thats the facts.

Bubba - who have been here for some time- have proberbly seen a lot of postings with men begging to be trampled by women - he offers something - some might like this offer - some might not - but its an offer, and we schould be thankfull for this - even we don´t live near - even we don´t want to show our faces. Without people offering good experiences we would just be a bit more pour.

Gizmo - if just one person have had something out of that offer - I know they didn´t have right now - but it might happend in a mounth or two - be happy on their new experiences. Nobody is criticising you for not showing up. But honnestly, some people here think that they deal with multinational billionaires if they talk to company owners - often the most of them struggle to survive. If they offer the board-members to come and have some good experiences - why not just be happy for those guys that (with time) will take this offer. And enjoy life, you are here for free - you enjoy the pictures posted here for free - you don´t pay a cent for this - if you have something original to offer for free for us all to enjoy - please go ahead.

But to be honnest - I´m from Scandinavia like you also - right now things don´t look that great here in Scandinavia - relaxe man and enjoy. We don´t even push you to be a deliver guy, take care of those that do deliver us with great material.

However I made a New Years resolution to come to San Francisco to do a video shoot with a certain woman. The reason why I would do it for her is that she knows what I want and willing to do it for free as long as I sign a model's release. All I asked if I can see it 1st. If she offers me a free tape as well I would be cool with that too.

Jump, thanks for your support. I think Gizmo is so hostile because he is frustrated he couldn't make it for the shoot! Nobody attacks someone like he did for no reason. There are underlying psychosomatic disorders underneath his hostility so we should just ignore his irrational behavior!

I wasn't rubbing it in at all. He misunderstood what I meant by my comment that "This could have been you..." meaning I offered guys from this board to volunteer to be in a video and based on the large number of guys who enjoy trampling on this board, I thought for sure there would have been "SOMEONE" who would do it and hopefully next time I have an offer for someone to be in a trampling video, there will be more who are willing to do it.

Oh, and to reiterate what I said before in my original post, we do offer a free copy of the tape when its all over as well, so its not like the guys aren't getting anything out of it.

Anyway, Gizmo doesn't have any good photo's or even stories to contribute to this message board so we should just ignore his childish behavior.

This is a VERY common problem for inexperienced paysite owners...I was a victim of the same thoughts back in 1997, and it wasn't as bad then as it is now. AOL has expanded their proxy system and bought out some rivals, making it even worse. Sadly, I can only lead Bubba to water but I can't make him drink...I was trying to help him more than you as he stands to have more to lose...

The Gizmo thing is silly...it's not taking advantage of someone when they volunteer to be in a video without pay...they are in fact being paid by the virtue of getting their fetish fed by a beautiful woman....

wouldn't a router change your ip multiple times? Seeing as how a router gives you their own ip...also, if he had logged onto your site from 5 different, perhaps he has 2 or 3, or maybe he logged into your site from somewhere else, such as a friends?

Well, on a more positive note, Bubba, that girl is one of the hottest I've ever seen. If I would be on the west coast, I would have died to be in that vid! Very philosophical and almost Shakespearian. I think he actually said something like 'There is nothing bad that thinking does'nt make it so'. Several people can hear someone's comments or see someone's behaviour and react differently. Some might THINK it funny, some might THINK it is stupid, some might THINK it rude and some may THINK the comment deserves an anger response. The anger response is a choice by that person and only they have control over how angry they THINK they should get.

Having been recently involved in a heated issue here in public (believing I had a cause and the other person believing he had a cause and it was over a more personal issue arising from direct contact) it is easy to let things get too heated....the hard part is diffusing the heat. Let us all hope that things settle again soon but I guess that so many people from so many parts of the world with so many beliefs and ideals cant always find peace when they are all brought together but generally peace often prevails in the end...this is a good place for us all....Thanks John, Daddo and those who make it happen.

Congratulations to Bubba for attempting to manipulate the readers' response. And please address the Windows Media Player issue that Gizmo enquired about.

Next time please do not be selective in your response to a technical problem on your site. Rather than trying to isolate Gizmo, address the issue. Why isn't Windows Media Player Version 9 able to play the clips on your site when it clearly says that any WMP above version 7 is fine?

This is technical question, and I also think that John could answer it. I'm not so sure of Bubba's expertize.

The question is how are working the systems that are automaticaly canceling membarship by violation of the rules?

If two users are trying in the same time to use the same user/pass, it's clear that it is violation.

But, if the user does not have his own computer. He goes to one cybercaffe, next time he goes to the other caffe. The caffes clearly have diffrent ips sometimes all three parts of the address. Is it a violation? I have not seen on any site expanatin that the costumer must use the site from the same ip.

Another variance:
one is a dial-in costumer, he gives the pass to a friend who is on the same isp. How can the system find out that there came to vioation, when only the last part of the ip is changing (when, ofcourse they are not so stupid to use it in the same time).

It depends entirely on what kind of software you use to make these determinations....

For instance, there is normal canned software called Pennywize that is somewhat of an industry standard....the problem is, it's CRAP...many people use it because it's cheap. I have no idea what Bubba uses...

I used to have great fun with password traders...I set the software to forward them to a cgi that crashed their computer every time they tried to enter the site.. :D I used to get some GREAT hate mail after that...hahahaha

That was a couple years ago when I was not nearly as learned as I am now...I was often giggling to myself about what was in store for password traders on mistressdestiny.com :D They wouldn't be trading passwords to anyone's site again any time soon... BOOM!

Anyway, to answer the question, cheezy software usually bans by counting how many different IP addresses are used in a set time period. Not always very accurate (although accurate enough for many ISP's) and worthless for dealing with AOL members...

Since Heckron seems to be lying about his password trading and has tried to make us at Roman Video look like the bad guys, I've decided to share with everyone evidence and proof of his logins at Roman Video to clear our name.

Below are all the IP addresses used with his username and password. As you can see, there are over 4 different network segments he logged into our site with, 65, 170. 216 and 66.

If you look at his logins, you see that he logged in from 3 different machines on Dec. 9, once at 20:58 using IP address of 170.224.224.38 and then twice just a few minutes apart using ENTIRELY NEW IP ADDRESSES at 21:02 and 21:14, then once again 4 minutes later. Finally, 2 hours later he logs in again using entirely new network IP addresses, 170.224.

Assuming Heckron is an AOL user, he is dialing in to the Class B network, meaning the first two octets are static and the last two octets are dynamic. But he also dialed in from a Class C network meaning the first 3 octets are static and the last octet is dynamic ( 170.224.224.38).

AOL has a Class B network in most major metropolitan cities. In some highly populated cities, they have a Class C network. How could Heckron have been in two different cities in just a few minutes apart? How could he go from a Class B network to a Class C network?

More importantly, how could he log in from 4 different machines with two totally different classes of networks in just a few minutes??? Am I being overly suspicious here or does this look funny to you too?

I've been a member of your site and found it OK.

I don't know whose wrong or right on this. From my neutral position I would back John's knowledge every time, as he has the years of experience which you have not. Especially since he says he has proof, and to be honest he would gain nothing from arguing with you. I have also talked with Heckron in the past and in my opinion there is no way in hell he would share a password.

Of course you may disagree ... but in the event you do turn out to be wrong then you will have made your site look extremely small. I hope if that happens then you will make a full and public apology to Heckron, as he would deserve, rather than a quick email and a few days access. Basically you are accusing him of being a thief, which is not a great way to go about things unless you are 100% correct.
