Dagwood's pics are very nice, and well done.
I don't tknow how others feel, but I think we are better off not having too many threads. For one thing, on a long thread, most people who responded get email every time somebody posts again. I think the key on these more specialized subjects is to make sure that you actually get to most of the people who like them---that is those who have responded.
For instance, some time back I posted some instocking gts pics ( one of my specialties) I know there are some people who like these, but a majority go Ho Hum. On a busy day the thread goes to page two in 12 to 18 hours, and unless I keep responding to myself , is quickly consigned to cyber-oblivion.
With a long thread we get a gradually increasing number of people who actually look forward to them, and sort out a mini-community, so to speak from the community as a whole. I see threads have gone on to 75 or 100 responses or more.
How do other people feel?
