clips 3 of either set in updates, both 512k and 1000k versions do not work, either claim corrupted, or file not present. judging from the looks, i'd guess there isn't an actual file, but i don't know.

clips 3 from both sets, 512k and 1000k are all broken. hope this helps :)

oh, and pic set 380 and clips 380 seem to be showing different scenes? the pics show an outdoor shoot, with like a pool and balcony, the clips shows an indoor scene, complete with chinese screen.

edit: btw, i loved the second clip of 11/14/2006. that closed legged sitting was very hot!

All the clips seem to be working properly now, and the images for what was ss380 (actually ss383) now match the clips.

I'm getting the same thing as you Rennoch. I'm also having trouble with the first two clips in that series - they're not playing smoothly, almost like how streaming videos look if they're not downloading fast enough. 383 series is working fine for me, so I think it's a problem with the clips....

Are you getting these problems with the first two clips?

the second one of 352 is fine and clear, but aye, i did notice when i checked again that the first clip is stuttering, and the last clip of course, is still missing.

with 383, only prob is the missing 3rd clip again.

Hey Rennoch,

I was able to download the third clip of ss383 last night, but both of the ss352 clips are still stuttering for me. Is there any chance that my problems are with the license that I backed up when logging on? (I have no idea how these things work!)

Hopefully you'll be able to pull up the third ss383, but the third for ss352 still doesn't exist on the site for me either.

NONE OF THE NEW VIDEOS WORK PROPERLY!!
WHAT THEY DO IS THE VIDEO FREEZES UP AND GOES....FREEZES UP FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS AND THEN GOES AGAIN...THIS KEEPS REPEATING.
i HAVE THE LATEST VERSION OF WINDOWS MEDIA AND WHEN I DOWNLOAD THE OLDER VIDEOS.....THEY WORK FINE!!
VERY FRUSTURATING....I'M GIVING UP!!!

The new ones are higher quality, larger sizes...if you are having problems it means your computer or connection for streaming are too slow...

Download the whole video first, then play it...

There are two new ones as of last night..
Everything was at 11/2 because of the programmer. He left without telling anyone how to use it and nobody was really thinking to ask as he'd been there for years.

I don't see why as there are NO filters on that email address...

ISP mail wasn't included in my bundle. i got 2GB free webspace, but no mail.

Hi John,

Thanks for doing your best to sort these things out. For some reason I'm having the choppy issue ONLY with the ss352 clips, and I always download them completely before playing them. I have no problem with the ss383 or ss382 clips which, if I understand correctly, are also at the higher quality level. Any idea why this is happening with just the three ss352 clips?

(and for those reading this, any of you getting the same thing? If so or if not, please add a note to the thread. thanks!)

Thanks for looking into it John. I forgot to mention that the problem is with the 1000k versions, the 512 seem ok (but the 1000k for ss383 and ss383 were working for me as well).

Hey Jimmy! Can you try deleting that file and re-downloading? I can't duplicate your problem, so wondering if something got messed up in your download of that file...

If it's still doing it for you, can you lemme know the following?

Is it the whole clip? Certain parts? Always the same parts choppy when you play it or does it change?

Hey John...I did download the whole video before playing it. It was still choppy. I have the latest Windows media too. The old videos are fine. It's the newer ones I'm having problems with.

... do me a favour, do a dxdiag scan, generate a log, and then do a resident memory scan and generate a log. mail them to the webmaster (or hell post em here if you feel ok with it).

you might have just a crapload of stuff bogging yer memory down. I.E. i can't run WMP and say M2TW at the same time. not because it can't run smoothly, but because M2TW has a memory leak...

ok here is my update. There is nothing wrong with my computer set up. Everything is fine. Here is the problem though but it's only on the new video's this happens! When I download the video's on 512K....the video plays nice and smooth....but when I download them on the 1000k....they are very choppy!! Video doesn't keep up to the audio! The older ones are fine though. Can someone please explain this. I'm not computer savvy either. I perfer the 1000k because it's alot clearer though but it's too choppy.

oh....I also have the lates windows media player.

Hey John,

Sorry for the delay, I haven't been able to go online for a bit.

I've just re-downloaded the 1st clip and it's still occurring. It looks like it's choppy in the same places, but it's hard to tell because it happens quite frequently, but not for very long (The best way I can describe it is a stutter). I don't know how to do the scans that you were mentioning above, but what I can tell you is that I tried it without any other program running in the foreground, and my CPU memory usage was on average 80% while the clip was playing, but dipped as low as 65% and only went as high as 90%. The 'stutters' seemed to be independent of the CPU memory usage (ie I got stutters when it was at 65%, not just at 90%).

So I don't know if that info's helpful. If not, I'm more than willing to try some of those scans you mentioned if someone can tell me how to do them!

Jimmy, we're re-outputting ss352 in 1k and putting it up again...takes about 6 hours to encode and upload...actually, just the 1k version so should be about 4 hours..

Sit on my face, they are having issues with one version of one clip...if you have fine audio and choppy picture, it means your video card is not fast enough for those versions...I used to have the same problem until I bought a newer laptop...
