Thanks for all the compliments! I have to give credit where credit is due: if it weren't for Lookingup and Trampleguy encouraging me to get some slingbacks, I don't know if I would have procured a few pairs as fast as I did. I'm so glad I did as they are great fun and easy to wear.

Now if I can just get my hands on a pair red patent slingbacks, my collection will be complete!

They are more difficult to find then you think. First of all, they have to be the "right" red. I like reds with more blue in them than orange. Then they have to have the right heel. None of this 3.5 inch nonsense. 4 inches or higher. I keep searching and some day I will find them...

For now, green, black, and maroon will have to do!

Nope, but thanks for posting the link. Slingbacks cover MOST of the side of the foot, but end just before the heel. Then a strap is formed that goes around the back of the heel--as opposed to the ankle.

Well, VQ I have to say that one there looked like a pair I got close to once.
I'm sure that many of your fans are now on the hunt for that red pair. Me included. I know your time is limited in NYC next visit so I can only wish we could find just enough time to do at least the shopping part of our ritual. Ahh one can dream. I guess we could always do that in San Fran.

Well if I am the Trampling Champion that YOU are the one person I know who DESERVES to be trampled the most. Others won't understand the reference, but that's ok.
