Hey Rich ftp stands for "file trasfer protocal" what it means is I'm allowing people to go into my computer into a certain Directory and look around and download files that they like, they can also upload files into my computer. You will need a ftp client program such as ws_ftp pro to do the work of communicating between the two computers. It is kind of similar to Kaza or morpheus if you ever tried them. I hope this helps.
