hey you got some great models on your website but im curious, ive noticed more and more youve been using a fake head for many photos/clips....why? i always prefered when you used a real person.

Hey thanks about the confidence in the hot models, but these fake head scenes were filmed a long time ago... when I didn't have a consistent camera man on scene to help out. Still might have to do more of these type of scenes in the future whenever I'm the unfortunate victim of being the only man on set. But most importantly in the case of Monica (for this scene), she "does not do boy/girl scenes"... meaning she only films solo stuff or nothing at all.

I definitely prefer a real person (such as myself in the scene), but you can only get so many good camera angles with one arm fending off her feet and the other arm holding the camera while she is stepping on your face or abusing it in some way when you can't really see what's going on if you're the only cameraman on set and subsequently the only man to model in the scene.

It's almost like a crap shoot with that loose arm hoping the camera is even focused on her or her feet when your acting as the performer and camera-man in the same scene.

Sometimes, I felt I had to make the best out of a situation I was stuck in so I went for the simulated approach instead of the still angles, or rather than take the chance of holding the camera on myself at the same time as getting abused.

I've gotten a handful of questions of why I prefer the fake head so much. Let it be known that I do not prefer that over the real thing. I didn't think I'd need to explain that fact (which is so resounding to me), but I should know 1st hand that there's people out there who like some really sucky stuff and I guess I have to accept the fact that it's possible people could mistake me for those same type of guys with poor tastes. But, I'm pretty saddened by the fact that people might actually believe that I prefer these lamo variations of a scene over the real thing of myself getting abused. I do not prefer that... just had no really good alternative if you know what I mean.

And besides, with each girl I tend to film a whole bunch of different types of scenes so there is a variety. Just because a girl does one scene with a fake head, does not mean I have to spend all 3 hours filming her with a fake head. I can change it up (which I do) with all my models. It's just a matter of posting all of the model's content so people can see all the variations. And because my last statement is much easier said than done, it will take time before all the different scenes I film with each girl are entirely posted. Don't be surprised if some girls have a fake head though; it's usually not planned that way when I can help it.

I definitely prefer it to be me, but sometimes it's hard to do the job of two men at once. I make do with what I have. Since I'm an extremely low budget (& virtually single-manned) operation, I don't have much to work with in terms of professional sets, props, scene assistants, manpower, & staffing. This is all totally amateur material done in my apartment to the best of my heavily constrained environmental, financial, time, and human resource factors.

I do the best I can and I always listen to people's good ideas an suggestions for creating new stuff or improving the filming process to make it more efficient.

Your stunning model looks absolutely bored. Ever try the director's technique of asking her what SHE'D like to do with a live head. Let her have fun trying everything she can think of. It will surely bring out a natural smile.

How about kicking it up the stairs, jumping, sitting etc. She'll think of many ideas.

Also, both cameramen are casting shadows on the set. Kinda funny, almost.

There were NOT two cameraman shadows because I was the ONLY cameraman on set (don't confused 1 person's shadow from 2 lights as being two different people). Having a 2nd cameraman could've solved this issued with having to use the fake head.

The lack of the 2nd camera man basically prevented me from being in scene with her (because I was filming).

Thanks for the offers to assist for those who are close to LA. I may be able to tap in on your assistance at some point. As I mentioned previously, this particular shoot was filmed a long time ago (when I DID NOT have a camera man). Things have changed now and I do have a camera man, which means I'll be forced into less scenes where the fake head is required.



How about kicking it up the stairs, jumping, sitting etc.Good suggestions about kicking it up the stairs, could maybe do that one day... but I have question for you... "Wouldn't you rather see my head get kicked up the stairs instead of a dummy head?" Just had to ask since people still seem to think I prefer this fake head BS.

Mostly importantly, this particular model would NOT have filmed boy girl stuff even if I did have a 2nd camera man (which I DID NOT), so I was stuck with the fake head for her either way. Could maybe do some head kicking in the future with that sort circumstance. But behold, you will see some serious hardcore face bouncing with her on that dummy head before long, and she really bounces into it with brutal force.

It's hard to direct and garner enthusiasm from your subject when there is a communication gap like that. Whenever the model's acting skills are capable of more, I do push them for more (http://free.feetcore.com/clips4sale/small_lia_hypno_icecream_feet.wmv). As I said, early sometimes you have to work with what you've got (in the short timeframe you can afford).
