My first Australian Daytime programma to checkout

My girlfriend was watching this afternoon tv while i was on the phone and called me in to checkout this new? Australian tv-show (http://mcleodsdaughters.ninemsn.com.au/). Because all the things i wanted to do were done i sat beside her and watched the tv programm. Not bad. How is this programma rated in Australia?

The TV show's called McLeod's Daughters...

Its a very popular show in Australia, editor...been running for a few years now...and rates well. Its kind of like a modern day Australian Western, and features strong women in a hard land, in tough situations......

Of course, the action's set in the the Outback areas (the farm/ranch country), and so the people, and the settings, are country - very different from, say, city life & people in Australia.....tho, it shows up many of the typical Aussie attitudes & characteristics...

Its a successful series...
