John! question about smother.com movies

Hi
excuse me for my english but i don't speak well cause i'm french.
I had join Smother.com a few days ago and i have a big problem.
I had download some videos and i just want to cut and arrange them with "windows movie maker" cause some are too long and i don't like all scenes in each movies. But i can't do it.
The problem is the DRM protection. all movies are protected.
And i can't download all of them on my hard drive cause they're too big for it.
What can i do for cut them with "WMM"?
Is it possible to do that?

Hate to give it to you like this but John is not a technical guy regarding this from what i know.
You can only adress him when it has to do with membership questions not on how software
technical matters work.
Infact your problem is a software one.


First of all:

If i'm correct you wanna edit the clips trough the windows software wich are DRM protected.
DRM is nothing more then a hidden-key wich
verify's on your computer what you have.
If you start messing with that - wich is also editting or whatever - the DRM 'seal' is broken
and you've lost your video's!


So...a short answer to solve your problem:


You can't editted them without losing the video as a whole.


There is a solution tough wich is legal (the other way can be traced easily trough google if you look closely):

Download THIS (http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=CamStudio) programm or if you like THIS (http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=Windows_Media_Encoder) programm and record what you want from the video
(so no need for editting trough WMM) and then download THIS (http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=TMPGEnc) programm to finish it off.
