in what hopes to be an annual poll...this year's contenders for 2005 Facesitting Website of the Year.

The criteria:
1) Main company focus is producing original material
2) Must be a regular contributor to this board
3) Must have an active and consistent updating system
4) Companies who's sole task is pay-per-minute viewing do not qualify
5) Must have notable support from the forum members over the last year

6) Because not every offshoot of a parent company can be listed in the poll, vote for the parent company (for instance Webmaster Bob's parent company is MeanBitches. if you like misscrystal's site which is an offshoot of WB's company, vote for meanbitches. Same with the offspring from Marco's Smother.De parent company, RomanVideo and others)

Unfortunately the board only allows at the max 12 polling options so inevitably some favs were left off.

In picking the 12, I went with the companies that generated the most feedback from members here over the last few years PLUS CONTRIBUTED MATERIAL (thru the company's own postings or a member contributing on their behalf from the archives)

(In retrospect I wish I had put Ms Nicole's site on instead of Anaconda) but the number of options I could pick was predetermined by the board's limitations.

I love Smelly's site too and go there quite frequently. But one of the criteria for selecting the nominees was the main focus of that company had to be in producing original material. One could always do a "favorite non commercial F/S site" poll in which case Smelly would probably win hands down.

A close second would be Facesitting Bitches, very good content, but at this time only monthly updates. But with Mistress Nicola in charge, that could change soon.

This poll is not about voting for zillions of website's but just for 1. Wich is 1 vote per customer/member. so...start organizing your fanclub ;) . Very reasonable and nothing wrong with it wich i already explained to UN1 and not worth pickering about cause then we soon have zillions of options for just a simple thing like this. There's a lot of good websites listed here that have been in the business for a long time so to be 4th is a pretty good compliment for the way you run your site. I've been a member of your site on and off (so many sites to choose from every month as far as becoming a member) and I've always enjoyed it very much.
My only complaint is I wish some of these sites would use a few models with a little more meat on their bones from time to time

I think this poll says a lot for both Meanbitches.com and smother.com. They are both great sites and are both providing a lot of great femdom entertainment for the fans. This poll shows that those two sites are a level above the other great sites, and I don't think it matters who finishes first or second. I am very proud to be recognized this way and want to thank everyone who has voted for us so far.

All of the sites that John mentioned are great sites. Our community has really expanded over the last couple of years! I know that femdom fans have a wide variety of tastes and I am glad to see that there are a wide variety of sites to match. As long as a website does not mislead people, I am always happy to see a new site. As a fan, I have been a member of many of the sites on the list.

Personally, I think meanbitches.com is the best site (I may be biased here :) ). The thing that makes it most unique in my book is the plotlines. When I fantasize about being dominated, I rarely just fantasize about being facesat. To really enjoy it, I have to have a scenario; a reason for being dominated. When I was in the business world, I loved the thought of being dominated by a secretary who blackmailed me. On meanbitches.com, we don't just shoot in the same dingy hotel room every time. We have always tried to make a nice little set, and lately we have been shooting at professional studios. We are not shooting "Pirates", but we are creating some nice fantasies. I love our "Santa" scene, our prison scene, our office scenes, and our "FBI Agent gets mind-controlled" scene.

I have been out of town at the AVN show, so I have not been posting lately, but some new pics will be going up soon.

So let me get this straight:

The poll runs neck and for three weeks. You announce that you are going to close the polls at 306 votes. At 306 votes, Meanbitches has a 1 vote lead. You then keep the polls open for another 12 hours or so, during which time the next 7 voters in a row all vote for smother.com. Who is running this election, the State of Florida?

That doesn't quite seem right. If you are not going to close the polls at the time you say you are going to, you shouldn't just wait until the lead changes and them close them.

First of all I don't live on this board and sometimes believe it or not have other things in my personal life to take care of. So you'll have to excuse me if I didn't jump at your beck and call and keep a 24 hour watch on this thing and close it just as the precise 306 vote was cast.

Second of all what does the hell does it matter that a few other extra votes got counted? Did the world end for your business because you didn't come out ahead?

You seem to forget that we used 306 votes as a measuring point because that's how many we had last time...IN THE MEANTIME SINCE THAT POLL. apparently 2500 other members were added to the membership ranks of this place. You could easily have gotten the lion's share of those members votes as well so keeping it open an "extra 12 hours" wasn't giving an advantage to any one site.

As you may have noticed, the voting frequency had trickled down in the last few days as we got towards the number 306. I had no reason to suspect there would be a last minute flurry of votes. When I revisited the site, those extra votes were just there.

What I supposed to do now?... disallow them now because I wasn't keeping a 24 hour watch on the board on your behalf and in the meantime some extra members expressed their preference? god I hope the world doesn't end because of it

May I remind you of your own words. When asked when the poll was over, you said:

Actually, I didn't forget that at all. I just remembered your other comments. I don't think it is an issue of jumping at my beck and call. I thought we were going to stop the voting at 306 votes because you said that's the way it was going to be done.

Look... there is no reason to get personal or try to be insulting here. All I am saying is the ending of this was not really reasonable. yes... the ending of this poll was quite reasonable since as I mentioned before I don't spend 24 hours a day here and was not about to just for something as silly as waiting for a 306th vote in a facesitting poll. That could have come 2 hours later or 2 days later, how can one truly be expected to know when that was going to occur?

I didn't "leave" the polls open knowing a certain website was going to surge ahead unless you're trying to imply John and I were in a some secret arrangement to keep it open while he gathered up some final votes.

Members here expressed their opinion in a poll. Regardless of when the cutoff point was, the members here made their preferences known and you seem to want to cast a bad light on the ones who didn't do so till the end for just one silly reason. You came in a close second.

I could leave the poll open but what process on ending it would you consider fair then? unless you're manipulating the vote on your end somehow, how do you know you'll even get another vote unless you're possessed of some psychic ability about member intentions?

Look I admire the fact you want to be number one but semi-accusing me of a lack of ethics and integrity in conducting this poll and how it was ended would be like me starting to cast a conspiratorial viewpoint on the fact you always seemed to stay just one or two votes ahead of smother.com all the time until the very end. and in the few times smother.com did pull ahead...sure enough you came right back and assumed your one/two vote lead.

This is not about you and it's not about me. It's about a contest that many of the members of this board participated in. I think we owe it to everyone who participated to see it end in a fair way.

I will say this about you though: you are taking a very mean-spirited approach to this discussion. I don't understand why you say things antagonistic things like "why not just accept your second place finish like a man and quit trying to cast aspersions on the character of other people". If you have a point to make, why not just be gentlemen and state it? We are all adults here, right? Let's skip all the personal insults and implications and have a nice discussion.

Let me put it this way: last week, USC played UT in the National College football championship. UT won 41-38. They scored the winning touchdown with 18 seconds to go in the game. USC then marched down the field and and got to the 40-yardline. But, they ran out of time and the game ended. So UT won, 41-38. The game was scheduled for 60 minutes of playing time and at the end of time, it ended. Now suppose the refs would have said "We weren't really checking the time... we can't be responsible for watching the clock all day!." So, they let the game continue and USC scored a touchdown to make the score 45-41. That would not have been fair. Then when UT's offense trots out onto the field, the refs say "OK well that's ballgame. We are going to call it now". I think UT would either want them to declare the game over at the end of the original 60 minutes or at least to keep the game going for a while longer.

Do you disagree with this analogy? Am I way off track here? Does anyone else have an opinion?

PS How do I know I would get another vote if the polls were re-opened? I can only base that assumption on the fact that meanbitches was the leading vote getter for the duration of the original contest. I assume that a lot of people love the site and that we would continue to get a lot of votes.

UN1 started the thread (good stuff UN) and thought it was an informal poll and announced an informal ending to it whilst the much respected WebmasterBob took it slightly more as a competition and assumed the stated ending (ie 306 votes) was absolute ...

No one is right or wrong here ... we all can disagree or agree (surely that's what a forum is for) but there's no need to flame each other ...

BTW however you read the results, www.MeanBitches.com and www.Smother.com have been voted the best websites by this forum - well done to both!

Oh and I'm quietly proud my website has been voted by you 5th behind www.Smother.de and www.Fetish-Film.ch

I will temper my thoughts in this thread...suffice to say, it is so clear if you read everything. Voting was stated by the starter of the thread to end at 307 votes. Meanbitches was the lead vote getter at that point. Bob's site should be declared the winner.

For reasons unknown that I could tell, the number of votes that determined the winner was suddenly changed. Not changed by much though. Why? Curious.

But, I'll make one comment here prior to finalising the thread...


As you know, I had previously conceded that Meanbitches.com was ahead by one vote after 306/7 votes.

However, U1 is the Referee of this Poll - his decision must be final - and because of an accident in timing - he faced a most difficult decision.



I don't think there's any mystery here...


The Referee, U1, was simply not present at the moment the votes hit the magic number of 306 votes - so, he didn't see it at that stage - and, therefore, as Referee, could not, in all conscience, call it at the 306 vote stage.


I think when U1 looked at progress it was less than the 306 vote mark - and then the next time he looked, it was suddenly 323 votes cast....


What was he to do....?


...In fairness, he couldn't declare a winner at 306 votes cast 'cos he didn't see the vote distribution himself at that point, and had no first-hand mechanism to divine it.....What was he to do?....He couldn't reasonably guess it - nor, go on hearsay.


... It also didn't seem fair to disenfranchise those that had voted in good faith between the less than 306, and the 323 that U1 saw...



In the absence of an adjudicating panel, any Referee has to call it on what he actually sees of the play - not what someone else sees....This is what U1 has done.


So....going with the actual number of votes cast the first time U1 saw the total past 306 votes, seemed the only sensible thing for U1 to do. Anything else, for him, would have been guessing - or hearsay.


IMO, therefore, U1 has acted absolutely correctly - given what he could personally verify.

...But, then, its also true that a 17 further member's votes were validly cast, in good faith, because the Referee had been unable to see, and close, the Poll at exactly 306 votes cast.
