It is my understanding that it is very dangerous for a woman to have air blown forcefully into her vaginal opening.

If air passes the cervix and enters the uterus, it can cause air to enter the bloodstream, possibly causing an embolism.

How do you avoid accidentally blowing air inside during a "smother" type sitting session?

You are right about the danger aspect. My exgirlfriends doctor warned her not to let me blow air up into her. There are actually a couple of ways around this problem. 1) Gag his mouth, 2) my favorite ass smothering, there I was afraid of any air releases :) 3) the least favorite, threaten to end the seesion if he can't control himself. You will be amazed at a guys self control when a facesit might end sooner than later.

I suppose it's possible the seat could accidentally blow air inside, but it probably wouldn't pass her cervix. Air sometimes gets pushed inside during intercourse, and in my experience, it always comes back out the same way it went it. ;)
