You wake up not knowing where you've been. And the memory slowly comes back to you.. when the world lets it. Because the first thing you notice is how many people find you strange. Not like an unzipped fly or a spot on the end of your nose, but a real sense of something being wrong. Changed. More than the reflection. And they treat you like the plague. It becomes such a worry that you have to get away. From everybody.. and go into the forest to try to remember.
What she did to you.. You'll remember when she needs you back again.

This is a story about a man's journey thru memory loss. From a hotel room he wakes up with no identity, and wanders around like a zombie. Memory flashbacks occur in the back of his mind of a beautiful woman.. a brunette.. memories of her being naked and intimate. But they're not as worrying as how complete strangers around the city treat him like he's some kind of misfit. It's like a cloud over his head.. and he can't get help from anyone. So he runs for days and days without sleeping into the woods. Falls asleep in the leaves. And his memory comes back to him.
Along with a deep deep need to go back to a place he's never been before. In this strange soul sucker's lap.. Where she finishes him.
The story is mostly a bastardization from society, with the occasional memory flash. It's like no fellow human being is capable of treating him with equality. And the final scene is he's tore up... his cloths.. tired.. pushing open an opened door where he finally sees her smiling at him. Acting like he's expected, but igoring him clearing up the kitchen. It's like she had someone over and now they're gone. She's really pretty.. but dark. A beedy eye dark.. knowing. He's so tired from his ordeal he's grunting and groaning like she's some kind of light at the end of a long tunnel. And caringly, she guides him into her living room. Cleans off his face.. and sits on him. And you see all that fatigue.. all that worry and fight fade away under her nurse like murderous stare with his deah by suffocation.

What's really interesting (to me) about this story is that he never met her before..
