Saving Stories

I've been a member for a few months now, enjoying the stories and pics, just getting a feel for how things go. I download a few of the pictures for my own collection but so far I cannot save any of the stories, either as a web page or a plain text file. Can anyone tell me if there's a block on saving stories or am I just being plain thick while playing with my PC. Thanks for any advice and I look forward to taking a more active part in future - cheers.

all you need to do is to right click on your desktop and goto "new" then select "text document". this will open word or notepad. then holding the left mouse button down, select the text you want. Then right click over the highlighted text and select copy. goto your blank text document and right click again and select paste. save your file. that should do it
