Okay, got this back from techs looking into slow upload problem...forward progress! lol...almost there.. :D

"Ok, well dont hold me to this yet. But we think we may have found the
problem. And this would explin the upload problems too. The data base that
holds all the pics is over 1 gig in size. Everytime that has to answer or
open to put pics in it adds huge load, and takes alot to do that. Plus
seems that its so busy opening that, it cant answer queries properly.
There are a few things we can do to try and tweak this. But I personally
have never seen a database that big :) So we have to tweak the crap out of
this.

Anyway, that is an update. we are monitoring the server. Greg will be
working on it tonight upgrading a few things and tweaking. So hopefully
this all fixes it."

Hiya John,

I've seen and worked with databases way over that size and there are many tips to improve the database and/or server performance... I wanted to send you a private message or mail about this but you have seen to have disabled those pssibilities... if you need any help or trics, feel free to mail me... :)

Very nice, Danza. The resolution on that pic must be awesome. With that many pixels, we could expand it on a banner to, say, 40 feet by 40 feet. Is that meant for a billboard? he, he

I just tried to upload the one original pic I have of me being trampled and got a message back that the file was to large.
It's a 1,702 kb jpeg file.
What's this rookie doing wrong?

LOL...there is no reason in the world a pic should be 1.7 meg...

Email it to me and I'll make it normal and send it back to you :D
