As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been distracted over the last several weeks. This has caused me to (mostly) drop off the planet with regard to replies to threads here, replies to friends’ e-mails, replies to acquaintances’ e-mails, requests for full registration, and requests for account repairs and other assistance.
Though I have not (for the most part) replied/responded to the substantial pile of e-mails I’ve received over the last few weeks, I have kept them all, and tried to flag action items so that when I was back on track I could identify the ones most needing my attention. The period of my reduced availability is now over (though it’s not going to be an instantaneous transformation).
Since I have a lot of catching up to do, I plan to approach the backlog according to the following priorities.
1: Problems with existing, fully-registered members’ accounts.
2: Fully registering proto-members.
3: E-mails to friends.
4: E-mails to acquaintances.
5: Miscellaneous tasks
I may shuffle these priorities depending on my judgment about individual circumstances.
Sorry for the recent delays, but they were necessary.
Note: if you just needed info on current status, you’ve received it – there’s no need to read further.
...
If you don’t know, the reason behind these delays has to do with some personal experiences I’ve been going through of late. Ms Sara and I have been re-entering the Kink World, and we’ve been taking a certain formerly-vanilla female friend with us on this journey. The inherent ups and downs in this complicated process have occupied my attention a great deal, and consequently I’ve had little “head space” to attend to my duties here.
The good part is that things have turned out better than I could ever have hoped. So, since the rough spots are now (I think) over, I can return to active duty here at MDFF.
That said, there is a huge pile of work to be done. Coincidentally (and amazingly) people have finally started to pay attention to my recent changes to the MDFF registration instructions. I’ve been practically buried under requests for full registration. Each of these will have to be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. This will take some time. And, of course, while I’m trying to catch up, other requests will continue to pile in.
Fully catching up could take as long as a month. So I urge patience. I’m peddling as fast as I can, while trying to keep you all informed to the degree possible. And, of course, I still have my own goals (and those of Ms Sara) to attend to.
