Okay, this is a bit of a hack, but here's how you get to save this sort of thing:
Create a file in WordPad (or your favourite plain text editor) which contains the following. IMPORTANT - YOU MUST REPLACE THE ROUND BRACKETS () WITH POINTY ONES TO MAKE HTML TAGS IE: GREATER THAN > AND LESS THAN < SYMBOLS. If I had used the correct tags, this message board would filter the following code out of the post!
(html)(head)(title)Test(/title)(/head)(body)
(a href="http://www.fhm.com/img/reporter/bigeye/15aug/boobs.swf")Right Click(/a)
(/body)(/html)
now save the file with an html extension, eg "test.html"
Open the file in your web browser (double clicking it should do the trick if you have named it correctly). The browser will display a plain page with the words "Right Click" at the top. If you are using a pc simply right click these words and choose "Save Target As" from the menu which appears. If you are using a Mac, control click on the words and choose "Download Link to Disk". Thats it
:D

Hehehe, gti your solution seems a bit twisted :( why not simply right click the link above and choose "Save Target As" (ctrl click on MacOS) directly from the post? It's so simple!

I wondered whether anyone would point that one out :) As I said, my solution is how you save that *sort* of thing - it doesn't just work with this example, but if you change the url to suit, it also works with html pages which have embedded flash movies :D
Some other options if you realy wanna save the swf flash files when using internet explorer...
1. From the menu bar, select File, Save as... and then choose for webpage complete..
2. From the menu bar, select Tools, Internet Options... from the temporary internet files section press the button settings and then view files... sort by type and see if you can find the one you want... if there are too many swf's, delete them all and refresh your page... now only the ones in that page will show up in your temporary internet files folder after you press F5 (refresh) for that folder...
Trick number 2 also comes in handy when websites have disabled the right mouse button (the web's most popular javascript) and for the more advanced websites that also disable the IE 6.0 imagebar (duh, that's also one line of HTML coding...)
You gotta be creative to get what you want..... :D

If you have IE it's even easyer than that.
Just go to File; Then Send; select Shotcut to Desktop!
You get a desktop icon. Then do what you want!
Move Icon to anywhere!
