View Full Version : dvd question
I am looking to purchase a facesitting video. The DVD mentions something about "full range motion" Can someone tell me what that means. Is a DVD worth $10 more than a VHS video? Thanks

Hi Mac4
A full motion menu on a dvd indicates that the scene image has a thumbnail which shows a motion animation of the scene you are about to watch. its usually only a minute or less in length and gives the viewer an idea of what is included on the scene.
DVDs are far superior that vhs tapes since you have so much more control over watching the movie. You can skip to chapters in the movie (this is different from the menu's) and different scenes much faster and easier. This feature isn't even available on a vhs tape. On a vhs tape you have either fast forward or rewind and that's pretty much it.
with a dvd you have the ability to fast forward at several speeds as well. The motion menu's, chapters, superior quality of video on dvd and the ability to fast forward at different speeds make dvds a far superior video purchase than on vhs.
Thanks for the information Romulus
