Hi, I just got a dvd burner, and I want to burn a dvd with all my various clips, but they need to be in a dvd format. My clips are windows media files, mpegs, and .rm.
Can someone please tell me how I can convert them?
Thanks!

You need to download a video file converter utility. Here is a link to a website that has a whole bunch of them. They cost around $20 to $50 but all have free trial versions
www.mp3towav.org
to convert movies, i often use tmpegenc. just give it a try, although i am not sure about the .rm-files. It is shareware.
to build your own dvd-video you should use dvdlab or another dvd-authoring-tool. you can build menues, add sound and so on.
a good starting point to go into deep in producing and converting movie-files is http://www.doom9.org , where you can find guides and tools.
