I came across this site the other day, I can't remeber where it was, it was trying to explain where our facesitting fetish originated. Facesitting occurs every year in the Trobriand Islands during a festival which lasts a few weeks. The Trobriands are a group of small islands just East of Papua New Guinea, not too far from the NE side of Australia. This activity occurrs during the Yam Festival in June and July. I only know a little about it from a couple of references in Paul Theroux's 'The Happy Isles of Oceania', published 1992. I beleive there are more detailed references in a book Theroux refers to: 'The Sexual Life of Savages' by Malinowski (no idea when this was published, but guessing by the none politically correct book title, could be 100 years ago). Malinowski described these islands as the 'Islands of Love'. It seems that, still today, women are the aggressors in sex, unlike most traditions. Now what excuse could I use on my wife for me to spend a fortnight there on my own next June....hmmmm.....

On a visit to a major bookstore chain a few years back, I wandered over to the adult section ( purely by accident don't you know!! ) and this title of a book jumped out at me...."Bizarre and Unusual Sexual Practices" the title read. Well, I just had to pick the blasted thing up and open it don't you know. And lo and behold, there was a section title directly related to our favorite fantasy, only the book refered to it as... Having studied anthropology in college, before you decided to take a vacation to the Trobriand Islands, you may want to take a look at some pictures of the men and women.
