If this works, people can now upload images directly from their hard drive. I am working on the issue of showing thumbnailed attachments instead of just the filename....that way people can get a general idea of the pic and see if it should even be opened....I should have that resolved later this week...

It's important that pic posters read and follow the rules....it's kind of pointless to try and do anything about people pulling pictures from other websites via an html call....they are already on the web where anyone can see them....this is entirely different and will be watched and guarded closely...so please make sure you post in something resembling this format :

This picture (or series of pictures as the case may be) is from the website http://www.mistressdestiny.com - It's the greatest and you should join immediately or else someone may run over your cat with a lawnmower!

Or something like that....you get the idea....make sure you advertise for the copyright holder of the pics, even though it is assumed you have express permission to post directly from them..it is the VERY least you can do...

Hmmm...well, depending on your browser configuration, you may or may not have been able to view that file, as it's a shockwave file...the attachments open in a new browser so if your browser is configured for it, it would work...there would be no problem with normal images...such as this...

Actually, I just realized that as of now, if you're not a registered member, you can't post or view the image attachments....shouldn't be a problem since all the pic posters around here tended to be registered members anyway...I think it needs to stay that way so that there can be appropriate control over image handling....

Unregistered members can still view the forum just like always...
