It seems there are several other members here who produce and distribute their own content. I am interested in creating and commerically distributing some quality independent face-ride content. I would appreciate tips from others who have already travelled down that road.
With other forms of adult content, I wouldn't expect any kind of helpful response, but I think that Face Riding is specialized enough that even commercial producers can and do enjoy each other's work.
1st, The producers that I was familiar with before finding this website are Smother.com (Diamond International), Agastia (Japan), Mania World (Japan), Sitter Videos, and MF Video (Brazil). What are some of the others?
Does it make sense to sell my content directly to an existing distributor, such as Diamond? Or is the market specialized enough that good content advertised on the web will find adequate clientele?
Also, I have to admit a preference for Japanese face ride content. This is where I first "learned", but there are aspects of Japanese content I find appealling. For example, in Japan there is more emphasis on "Riding" and less on "smother". The Japanese word for this fetish "Gannmen Kijou" actually translates directly to "Face Riding". I'm more interesed in the rider than how long someone can hold his/her breath... lol
In addition to "Riding", Japanese Face-ride content often contains watersports themes, with "Holy Water" being used as a "reward" for obedient subs. There used to be a legal issue with watersports content in the US, but the "Squirt Queen" female ejaculation genre seems to be changing this. Are there still legal issues that prevent distribution of watersports content in the US?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thx.

Should I interpret the lack of response here as it's more competitive than I thought? Or just that no one wants to see new face ride content?

Don't be surprised about the lack of responses here. On average, when I post "free" pix there may be 1,500 - 2,000 hits or views, and maybe 4 - comments or replies.

Thanks for the clarification. I noticed that there are several other commercial producers here as well as amateurs; thought this forum was different from the gazillions of Yahoo and MSN groups.
I still think it is. ;)

Wow - I'm floored.
Kristen - you didn't deserve that at all. I hope you can take it from the source and rise above it.
I like what Kristen does for the community. I enjoy the posts. I can understand her wanting positive feedback from us and getting annoyed when the views hit 2000 without a single response.
I have a theory on why that happens.
I figure if your right hand is on the mouse, and your left hand is on your dick, you can't really key in a response without letting go of something. Let go of the mouse and no more pictures, let go of your dick and no more instant gratification.
So Kristen, if you take that into account, the fewer responses you get, the better we must like your posts!!!
Hope you got a chuckle out of that.
Don't take that kind of crap to heart and assume we are all like that. It's so not true.
Take care Kristen.

I don't think it is easy for us to answer your questions. There are many ways to sell/distribute a video. It depends on the content and on who wants to buy it.
I can tell you this, and I think Bubba from Roman will agree with my sentiments on this: It is harder than it looks. You have to think about things like editing, legal standards, model releases, video duplication, fulfillment/delivery, box covers, flaky models, equipment problems, and more. Personally, I made Pirates of the Apartment Complex because I think those girls are really hot and wanted to see a facesitting video with them in it....I think you have to have that kind of passion/enjoyment of the genre to make it worthwhile.
Good luck,

I Can't give you any tips, but feedback..yes.
I've joined just about all paysites at least once, a few twice and would probably join againin the future.
I joined Roman and Meanbitches because of their advertising here. Both sites are great in their own way, and I was very satisfied with the content.
Personally, My strongest fetish has always been Asian facesitting, and there aren't many sites out there that have them. Sooo...I would definately be interested in seeing your stuff, though..to be honest, I would probably wait a little for the site to have enough content...

Thanks for all the positive feedback. And thanks to Kristen for keeping this thread alive so others would see it. Greek was way outta' line. I hadn't thought about using a website as a revenue generator. I suppose a member's section would help pay for hosting, but I am more interested in distributing videos and DVDs.
I totally agree with webmasterbob that you need to love the genre for it to work. It's not about money, but revenue is required to keep it ongoing.
You have to think about things like editing, legal standards, model releases, video duplication, fulfillment/delivery, box covers, flaky models, equipment problems, and more. That's exactly the kind of stuff I need to hear, and why I started this thread. I have access to two professional cameras and an AB video mixer. These belong to a friend who does mainstream modeling portfolios.
As far as art work, printing, duplication, and distribution, that is the part that makes me wonder if i shouldn't license my stuff to another distributor.
Legal issues vary from state-to-state, but so long as you have all the models releases and pay your taxes... I haven't seen any litigation as a result of the 'squirt queen' stuff.
BTW, I'm in Texas, and I know of two CA-based adult content producers who have recently set up shop here. Something about camera-friendly air (sunny and dry) and non-union labor. So far, local law enforcement hasn't hassled them. Besides, the "cowgirl image" fits with the riding concept, and the large number of gentlemen's clubs here mean a seasoned supply of models (yes, many dancers are flakes... lol)
I agree with Chico too. I also like the Asian stuff better. I think part of it is that, at least in Japan, they have been doing face RIDING all along, as opposed to sitting or smother. This means the ladies understand from the outset that they are performing, not simply sitting.
I'm thinking intially to do 60 minute videos, with each video introducing one model in three sections: Pants, Panty, and Nude. The videos will end with a squirt scene on the sittee's face.
It's a pretty simple concept, and with a standardized 3-section format, potential models can view previously released material to clearly see what is expected before they sign a model release.

You're not even a member of this board. Do you really think the people that come here are any more interested in what you have to say than what Kristen has to say?
We all have our feelings about what goes on here. Please learn to be a little more patient with the people that post here. If you don't like what you read & see don't come here anymore. :mrt:

Hi Rich, and you took the words right out of my mouth. I thought it odd a "guest" or non member was even able to post. But I have to give credit to "Greek"...his usage of 4-letter profanity is quite accomplished.
Krissy:bore:
Post by Greek deleted for unnecessary vulgarity....opinions are not censored here, but please keep them within the realm of good taste in terms of delivery...
Kristen, guests can post replies here when I am around to moderate....they can not start new topics.

Hello members , I wanted to answer this post days ago but one of one the nastiest posts stopped me.
I felt you answer deserved an answer from a truly struggling producer. In business college they teach you to find the product and then seek the market. Yhis of cours is a fallacy and In the real work it is best to estalblish your market and then develop the product.
You have your product idea figured great. Feed back in this forum runs about 65 to 45 in favor male on female, so there is an excellent start, for input. That doesn't take into acount the ones who like like both or anthing .. LOL
Since you have the fancy gear and probably money this puts you into the pro. category. So beware of the pifalls mentioned by Roman ,, especially the flaky girls part. This is alot of work and a fool who thinks this is fun and easy really makes me choke.
To Kristen , for shame , donna and I wanted to preview some of our personnal material and hoped to show on your msn site , but when we went back ,it was gone, , Please remember we have wiped out our couples couples club with 4000 members , because of no input and greed with the members ... So I do know how you feel. I wanted to wipe out my my newest groups and give up for the same reason. Funny but us amateur producers are a sensitive lot .
As for the newest pro. producer , noboody will take you serious without posting something to prove your worth.
i had to say that I am one that really does not post as much as what i shoud, i am too shy ..... we will post some of our new material very soon ...
your friends danny and donna and team ...

Newfie, thank you very much for the thoughtful response.
Just to clarify, I'm not asking anyone to take me seriously YET... That, and 2 cameras and an A/B editor don't exactly put me in the "high dollar hardware" category either... lol
I'm not thinking this will be easy, but it's something I've thought about for a while. Getting the content on video is the fun part, even with the "flaky" aspect... ;) It's packaging and distribution that are the real headache.
I guess I've got some more homework to do, but I really appreciate all the input from the members here. Thank you.
The more people out there the better for me! :p
