to large to send to the forum

the question is -

1). what platform you using pc/mac?

2). do you have the applications?

3). can you be bothered to go to the ‘trouble’???

if you can...

- boon (anyone with similar ‘problems’) you could try THIS...

• five ‘easy’ steps that (once you get familiar with them) should only take a minute or two PER picture.

step #1). create a ‘still images’ folder -

title ‘my good lady friends beautiful big arse’ or (whatever her name is) beautiful big* arse ;-)))

* i know, i know ;-))) i just like the words BIG and ARSE ;-)))

step #2). inside the ‘still images’ folder create 3 more -

titled ‘1•source‘ (for your big pictures), ‘2•optimised‘ (will be explained later) and ‘3•posted‘ (will be explained later).

step #3). open adobe photoshop 7.0 > menu bar > file > open > find ‘my good lady friends beautiful big arse’ > ‘1•source‘ > big picture number 1 and open so it’s up in the adobe photoshop 7.0 application.

step #4). go to very bottom of ‘tool’s bar (left-hand side of screen) and ‘jump to imageready’, ‘big picture number 1’ will now open in ‘imageready’.

• ‘imageready’ will now open and ‘do it’s business’.

step #5). in ‘imageready’, on the (top-left corner) of ‘big picture number 1’, you’ll see original/optimized/2-up/4-up (for this example just go to 4-up) >>>

my example: original-1.2mb/60 quality-305k/30 quality-115k/10 quality-65k)

• boon, with pictures of the quality your taking you could easily post at 10 quality and the ‘punters’ would be delighted, anything more depends on your preference as to what is ‘acceptable’.

>>> 4-up chosen/highlight let ‘imageready’ ‘do it’s business’ again and you’ll see the screen split into 4 (showing 4 options, original-1.2mb/60 quality-305k/30 quality-115k/10 quality-65k) > choose/highlight the quality you prefer (for this example 30 quality-115k) > file > save optimized as...

and you’re done!!!

a 1.2mb file down to 115k, piece of piss ;-)))

goat desktop and you can place your new ‘big picture number 1’ (reduced to 115k jpeg) into the folder titled ‘2•optimised‘ (for easy access), ‘3•posted‘ (is now pretty much self explanatory).

THERE IS MORE BUTT THIS SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO KEEP YOU GOING ;-))) )))

i hope this helps you (or anyone) a little (or a lot ;-)))

menu bar > ‘imageready’ > file > preferences > optimization >

default optimization - named setting choose/highlight jpeg high

2-up setting - 1st original 2nd current

Saying that it was taken after 20 min`s of facesitting, and that
it lasted over an hour.
