Jesus, am I the only one under flood of spam from Romanvideo people? They send and send, I remember asking to stop as far as one year ago but they simply wont. Ofcourse they send it from fake email accounts and never provide any information on how to unsubscribe. Attempt to write to the support emails are never replied. How can this be tolerated.

Now I dont want to sound nasty or biased, but I do not like the quality of their products, I guess its a question of tastes. Yet I have to deal with this flood of crap.

Now that I think of it, maybe its better to have a shithead who has problems talking to customers than having this kind of intrusive lame company. :2guns:

Did you add your name this way? if so, to remove your address just go to the main page and "Opt out" with your email address.

if you didn't enter your email address this way, send me an email I'll remove the email.

I've been spammed by Roman Video ALOT...and I've never entered the emails sent to in any forms on Roman Video sites...so there IS some kind of email harvesting going on..presumably from forums like this one and Yahoo groups, etc...

Just an FYI, Romulus...I don't really care because I get a billion spams a day anyway...but easy to get into trouble that way..

John and Tset,

I just called our hosting company and found out what happened. Someone has been using our server to send out spams! Its truly amazing what hackers can do...

Sorry to anyone who got an unsolicited email from us. That explains why even I've been getting them!

This will be resolved in the next day or two.

I would check your opt-out form too. I used it once and I still receive mail from you guys to that address. I actually *want* to receive your mailings on one address...but not both. Sometimes those opt-out forms are just a way to opt right back in.

Romulus, I dont understand what you mean. Im talking about romanvideo spam only, so it cant be a third party, you may be referring to something else. On another note, I can see clearly that these emails are coming from a home computer of some of your people living in California:

So no, Im being very specific, you are sending those emails out, and yes to 2 addresses too by the way :( And yes I remember sending you on every possible email a request to be removed, and have received absolutely no replies! And yes the emails continued.

Editor - a PC/laptoop/Apple/Desktop isn't any more secure because it is shiny and aesthetically pleasing. Its all about software, dude - having the right tools and knowing the right people

Tset is right about the spam, too. Doesn't sound like the work of crackers at all. tsk, tsk :eyebrows:
