I dont know if this is related to the spyware but some how my website was hacked or virus got in,im not sure but i know all of my members were deleted out and we could'nt add pics or anything,my hosting company knew nothing and my webmaster knew nothing but i now got all members back in and should have a big pic update for the long period of not uploading.
If your membership was active from on 5/8/04 i will add one free week to your membership and have 2 or 3 updates in that week.
Many of you has emailed me wondering why they were deleted, your back in but its NOT for sure that the problem is fixed.
Thanks
Kbrooks

You can download a program called Spybot and also another program called Ad-aware and that should get rid of all spyware/adware on your PC. I use these two programs together and it always works great to get rid of crap like that.

Other than that, if your whole PC seems to be infected and causing major problems then you might want to consider a total reformat and just start new but make sure you backup all important files and documents. This is my opinion though.

Are you running any virus software and do you keep it updated and always running in the background?

I use spybot, works great, free but give them a donation. spybot search and destroy.

Sometimes the guys trying to sell you the ad blocker are the same people bombarding you with ads [bastards should be shot].

zone alarm has a free firewall that works good too.

I've found the following free software very very useful:

Spybot
Ad-Aware
Zone Alarm
Google Toolbar with pop-up blocker

I rarely have a popup that gets through now.

I installed all four on my system.

You may want to trry a new browser.
Fire fox has a built in popup blocker that works very well for me.
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/
Give it a try. Hope this helps.

Strange... my version of ad-aware is shareware too, and it gets rid of the junk and doesn't ask for payment... if ya want, drop me an email and i'll send ya the file i have (and no it's not a hacked version).

Also, my buds stop'n by later tonite and is bring'n another ad/spy remover he likes over for me to try... if he remembers to do that, i can send you that program aswell.

Sux about pay-pal... some companies are just too darn piniky these days. wish i could help ya out there with ideas, but i never had that problem.

BTW, in the message ya left in the discusion forum, i left a link for that site about anti spy/ad progs.

Good luck
