Does everyone/anyone see ad's instead of pics as I do?
I've attached a screen-shot of what I see.

Have you tried a pop up blocker?

Strange, I see pic's. Maybe a pop-upblocker is the answer, as adamant19uk suggests.

Popup stopper stops just that...popups. His problem is the inline images are being replaced. I'd guess that you are infected with some sort of adware that replaces random images with ones it serves up.

Adaware ( http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ ) is fairly good at detecting and cleaning most of these up, but I have seen it fuck up one computer bad, SO DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU and back up anything important first!

Thanks everyone for your help!
Yes, I have a pop-up blocker, and I also have Ad-Aware and use it often. I've had no problems with Ad-Aware in 2 years of use, and I have only good to say about it, although it can't find this one. :<( I'll keep trying.

Thanks again guys.

I just upgraded to Ad-Aware 6. My old version 5 found nothing, but version 6 found 389 items! I checked them all thoroughly and dumped them all. The pix are BACK! :))

Ad-Aware is great, just be sure to double check all the items before deleting them. I would have never thought that moving only one version higher, from 5 to 6, would yield such results.

Thanks Phlat for posting that link, or I may have never went there and upgraded. The new version is also much faster.

Thanks again guys.

I have found what I believe to be a better solution to the problem of adware and pop-ups. You may want to try using a different browser, instead of internet explorer. I highly recommend Mozilla Firefox (from www.mozilla.org). It has a built in pop-up blocker that works perfectly (it's never caused a problem for me and I have used it for around a year). Also, most of the ways that spyware/adware install themselves are directly related to problems internet explorer has that most other browsers don't.

The most effective solution I have found is to just not use Windows and go with a UNIX (like Linux) or Mac, because most spyware is written for Windows and won't work on anything else. Please note here, spyware wasn't the reason I switched from Windows to Linux, it's just one of the benefits.

Person, you are right about using another browser, but unfortunately most sites are optimized for Explorer. Especially Java-made sites are giving problems with Mozilla. So it seems nothings perfect.....

Satch, when you say optimized for IE, that makes me sort of cringe. All it means is that the site was written using code that only IE supports because the "optimized" code isn't actually html and doesn't in any way comply with the standards for HTML.

I've been using Linux exclusively now for two years and have been using Mozilla or a variant for the entire time. The only site I have not been able to view correctly is Microsoft's windowsupdate site.

If you are having a problem with Java in Mozilla, it might be that you're using an older version of Java or (if you're using a UNIX) you might not have the J2re files in your path or ld.conf.

I stop using IE one year ago, because he is to vulnerable. I use now Netscape because he is statistical 200 less vulnerable as IE. And only few sites don't accept Netscape or Mozilla(Microsoft for example), but with other sites I don't have problem with Netscape.

Opera is probably the third most popular browser. It has great built-in pop-up control. You can have java enabled and still get the following pop-up options: (1) accept, (2) refuse, (3) open in background, and (4) open requested only. I like option #4 , which only gives pop-ups when I click on a window or link. I'm using Opera 7.23.
