Alright this is a stretch but does anyone on this board work at a place called Paion in Aachen, Germany? The reason I am asking is because of a new drug they are producing called Desmoteplase. It is designed to help stroke victims, and the reason I am asking this question is because I had a stroke two years back and I am still living with the symptoms caused by it. This drug sounds great but it is only offered within the first 9 hours of the first stages of the stroke. I have been doing research and cannot for the life of me understand why such a limited time is placed on this particular drug.

I realize this is way out in left feild and for that I am sorry but the only good thing that has happened from having this happen was that I now have more time to read and reply on this forum.
