“OK. Time for abs now”, Krista said. Abs were hard sometimes right after working out my legs. It all depended on whether she would stand on my stomach as I brought my legs up 90 degrees, lay down on her back on top of me for extra resistance while doing crunches, or stood on my chest and groin while doing crunches. Unfortunately for my legs (not to mention stomach), she jumped up on my abs.
I brought my legs up for the first rep and when they got to a 90-degree angle, she pushed them back down to the ground. After my legs neared the ground, I slowed them using my abs and brought them back up again. I could really only take short breaths with my chest since her 150 lbs was compressing my abs. The first few reps were pretty easy but after 15 reps, her weight started feeling heavier against my straining abs, which I had to keep tight during the entire set. My legs started getting tired too since I had just finished my squats. After 20 reps, my stomach was starting to burn from the effort and I was starting to have trouble taking in enough air, again. I finally got the 25th and final rep done but I wasn’t quite done yet.
“Bring your legs back up so I have something to hold on to”, she told me. I lifted my legs back up to a 90-degree angle and she placed her hands on my feet. Now the hard part. She started pushing herself up on my feet and jumped up at the same time so that she could get more air. “One, two, three,” she counted after each jump “four, five, six”. After each jump she tried to jump a little higher by pushing up more on my tired legs. “Seven, eight, nine, and ten”, she finished. Then, after the 10th rep, she jumped up and held herself up using my trembling legs for a few seconds. My abs were screaming and my legs worked hard to keep her body in place as she held herself there. Fortunately, though I could take some good deep breaths again. Then, she dropped herself heavily on my abs and forced most of the air out of me since I had no strength left in my abs to catch her weight. To finish the set, she stood there about a minute until my abs could no longer hold her weight and she slowly compressed into my stomach. Then after she had fully squashed my stomach and knew my stomach muscles were wasted, she jumped up a couple more times as high as she could. Even though I tensed my aching muscles, they were no match for her brute force as she pounded my stomach. “That seemed like a good set, you’re able to resist me a little bit more now. Hope you liked the ‘massage’ at the end of the set. I wonder how you’ll do on the next ab set”, she said.
Next was donkey calf raises. I stood back up and bent my upper body over at a 90-degree angle. Krista hopped up on my lower back and scooted herself as far back as she could. I placed the balls of my feet on a wooden block and started to slowly raise up on my tippy toes as high as I could. After getting a good burn in my calves after 20 reps, I went back up on my tippy toes and held her up for as long as I could until her weight brought my heels back down to the ground again. I layed facedown on the mat again and Krista stood on the back of my calves to massage the muscles. She made sure that she covered every bit of my muscles while standing up on the balls of her feet.
