Hi John,
Ever since I rocked the boat with a Pic Post that didn't give proper credit for the copyright owner or displayer that I copied from, I have searched for some guide lines on this subject. I have also looked at all the recent posts to see if I could determine what the guide lines are. I confess that I'm baffled and unsure of how to and when to give credit. Would you please enlighten me or point me in the direction of some rules on this? Thanks

Hey jazzbum....pretty simple to remember...ALWAYS give credit to the ORIGINAL producer of the pics... :D

Example - Posting some pics from smother.com (easy example since they always say smother.com on the pictures) you would clealry attribute to http://www.smother.com and not the Yahoo club or personal website someone put them on if that's where you found them....

If you do not know where the pics are from (unfamiliar with site and no URL on pic) go ahead and post them but ask for help in identifying them....likely SOMEONE will know where they are from...that way at least you are trying and not ignoring the fact all together....

We are getting good feedback from content producers so everyone seems to like the way this is working...win/win for everyone.. :cool:
