View Full Version : Anyone used Smothered.Com?

Well, I hate to be unpopular (if it's anything to do with this site), but it's not my cup of tea. All the pics are artificially posed for, the models aren't natural or realistic. And the pics show the camerman???

Anyways, I tried to cancel after the month (2 days before ending) and put in 4 separate items for id for cancelling and it rejected my cancellation. So I emailed support but they ignored it. Then they took another month's money. So now I've told my cc company who said they'll have much grief when the money is reclaimed.

I just thought I'd warn everyone.

IBN has been around forever....there's no way you can keep a merchant account for that long if you are ripping off customers so my guess is there is a mistake somewhere...

Ahm this story isn't that strange cause i've heard these kindda stories before so there has to be some truth in it.
Anyhow, if you wanna cancel your membership write to Steve Canon personaly or check him out on MSN/ICQ
(use search engine)
I've been a member a long time, bought a lot of tapes from them as from Diamond International, and i was always very satisfied with their services then.

It must be some kind of mistake,I`ve been a member of www.smothered.com. long time member of diamond Int, Smother.com,Also i joined IBN, never had any problems at all with cancellation etc...Sorry if you`re having problems, sounds like mis-understanding.

You should be able to just write them a letter as mentioned and they can credit your account. This is much easier and better then charging back.

Well the plot thickens. I tried again to cancel and treble-checked all my 4 entry details as required on their cancellation form - again rejected. I emailed to sales@smothered.com - this was returned unable to deliver!!!.

Maybe after all this time something's happened to them???

I have had a couple problems with IBN but they were always taken care of in good fashion. I would e-mail webmaster@smothered.com with details. Or, perhaps the best way to explain things would be to call them:

1-800-334-6041 (toll free within the U.S.)
1-818-879-0670 (outside the U.S.)

Good luck. Let us know what happens.

I've now emailed Steve Cannon at webmaster@smothered.com. (he's ignored 2 previous). Let's see if that works.

I believe when joining smothered.com you are obligated for 3 months. You paid for 3 months of service, you ain't getting the money back.

Toboy...that was true at one time. But not necessarily anymore...they offer a monthly option too now. Which I think is wise that they *finally* offer that.

They charge £27.99 PER MONTH, which is why I expected a bit more for my money.

The email I sent to webmaster@smothered.com was unable to be delivered!!!

So, they've either blocked me or they're having problems???

NEVER AGAIN.

Oh well, CC company will give them grief.

speaking of diamond international how do u see what videos they have just in case i wanna order them without signing up for there site?
