I just joined www.pussyman com and was horrified to find that all of the videos are in the Quiktime format. My OS. is winXP and the pictures I get with Quiktime aren't viewable. This is also True with my other PC which has a Win98 OS. On my puters media player gives the best results followed closely by Realplayer 8. Real one is next and nothing else comes close. Are other's having my problems or is Quiktime a viable viewer for most of you??? I personally would like to see all FS videos in the media player format like Sitter has most of hers.

I have Win98 and can view movies with Quicktime. I did have a problem with it until I upgraded to the most recent Quicktime player. I would guess you've already done that but if not, get the free upgrade. It worked for me.

Get the latest Quicktime Professional Player. I think its 6.0 or higher.

Then install all the plugins.

The Quicktime streaming is a bitch at times at some sites.

Upgrade ur IE or whatever browser you use to the latest since it has to gel with the latest plugins.

This should work OK with Windows XP, but you need Quicktime 5.0.2 or higher. You can download it at:

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

I emailed Pussyman to see if he had any other suggestions and he sent me back something from his technical people:

- If you already have Quicktime 5.0.2+ installed and the movies are not playing is because you might be behind a firewall through your internet connection. Please follow the following directions to configure Quicktime. The following directions are compatible for the PC or Mac.
- Open your Control Panel
>Mac Control Panel is in the Apple Menu.
> PC users' Control Panel can be accessed through:
Start>Settings>Control Panel
- Open the Quicktime Settings Icon
- On the top there is a drop down menu where you should select "Streaming Transport".
- There are 2 options, please select
"Use HTTP: Port ID".
- Close the Quicktime Menu and my video streams should work now.

Thank you for your help. I have decided to junk quicktime totally. It mucked up several of my files and changed all the font settings on my PC. I could get the videos to play but the image was distorted beyond recognition. I downloaded and installed from the pussyman site this time, but I have downloaded from the apple site with the same result, a well mucked up PC and no viewable videos. I have uninstalled Quicktime and will now put my PC back together. Thanks again for ypur help

Hey Jazzbum I've never had a prob with quicktime on 98SE, ME or XP but I do prefer MediaPlayer, better quality pics and sound!! but for anyone interested don't waste time downloading it, it is available on many CD Singles to play the included Video clip sure beats downloading 20 odd meg at 56k :D

Just my 2 cents worth
