Im a terminator fan to and i would have liked the third movie set in the future instead of another assasination attempt on John Connor,this time with *gasp* a female terminator.
I think i´ll just skip this one as well as the sequel to The Matrix,i have this idea that its just a lot of eye candy and action scenes in abundance instead of a good story wich i prefer before million dollar action scenes.
Arnold probably was half the budget for the picture. :rolleyes:

Fantastic movie. I don't see what cofused you about the ending. It sets the stage for the future movie we all want to see them make. Don't miss this one, you will regret it.

She practiced running in high heels on the UCLA(university of California at Los Angeles) track with the foot ball team watching.
I'm a TX fan, but I would have bought front row tickets to see this.

Well its pretty much a popcorn flick.
High on octane, low on plot I hear.

Not that it was a disaster like people predicted with Cameron gone and no one from the original in the film save for Arnold.

I hear raves about the ending and the chase scenes.

Since i expected more then just 2 hours of special effects and explosions i wont pay to see the sequels to these movies now no matter how much i´ve been looking forward to see them.
Millions of others will go and see them just for the previous movies success but i refuse to buy into the hype since its becoming to common nowadays for the movie industry to just make more money out of earlier movies success without having a lot of story to justify a sequel.
As much as i loved the first movies,Terminator 1 and 2 + The Matrix i´ll just turn my back on any sequels nowadays at the first sign that they´re just milking the old story dry and pump in millions to make 2 hours of eye candy effects.
Its just fun to watch for the moment and then you´ll forget about it as soon as you´re out of the theater.
If they would have some respect for anything but the all mighty dollar i believe they more often then not would think twice about making these sequels.

Yes, I saw the movie as well. There were some great scenes indeed in this one. Hopefully when the DVD version comes out we will be able to see some deleted scenes that have more trample in them.
Hey Gizmo, I understand your problems with sequels these days and your dissatisfaction with the new T3 movie. However, I just saw the movie last night and I'm still thinking about the overall story and how everything plays out. I was truly impressed with the 2nd sequel to this film. If you're a fan of the first two, as well as the whole story behind these films, I think you will find T3 extremely entertaining and informative. Like you said, this probably doesn't belong in this post but I have to comment on your first post in this thread,

I'm not trying to piss you off in anyway and please excuse me if you know the inside scoop on this movie. Judging by your 1st post it seemed you were just speculating on the whole matter. Think of this as a pep talk from a fellow Terminator fan! The movie's plot is hardly another assasination attempt on John Connor. Have you questioned Claire Danes's character in the new movie? On top of that, with all the computer technology these days do you think that by knocking out skynet the War won't happen? Finally, Arnold gave up a lot of his salary for the movie to help with the fundings.
The new movie is definately different, and because of fans like you, the director knew the same old plot and story wouldn't fly for this movie to live up to the brillance of the whole Terminator story line. If you don't see it in the theater you have to see it when it comes out on video. It's still got my thoughts rolling!

it is encoded with XviD, it should work if you install the codec. You could also try in Winamp3. I heard it has a lot of codec already included.
