Advice on finding a Mistress

Hi everbody. I am trying to find a Mistress to try a few things. Anyone have any advice. I was thinking of going to a domination house but am hesitant because of privacy and if it is even legal. Anyone have any experience with a place like that?

I have been to a " house " on several occasions. I had great experience's each time. Privacy has never been an issue.
The experience felt a litttle less personal , But in some ways that is a good thing. Not sure where you are but Chicago has several options to consider. Take a look on Maxfisch.com , you will find listings for many cities/ countries and for just about every desire.

Is a "house" a good place to go if you are a novice? I have never done anything like this before other than some very light bondage (only had one girlfriend who wanted to try it). I have found a place around where I am (south florida) and kind of wanted to know what I was getting into beforehand. Mainly I want to know what kinds of questions I should ask when I call.

All house's are different. Some will schedule you with whom ever is "on" at the time . And may not be what you are looking for. You are in South Flordia , lot's of Domme's and BDSM activity .I would look on Maxfisch or one of the other many Domme listing sites (read each mistress's page you are interested in carefully) for someone that appeals to you , your location , saftey, price and your kink.
Contact them according to instructions and tell them what you are interested in. Look for a response and a situation that feels comfortable and safe. Be sure to tell whom ever you contact that you are a novice.
It's gonna be scary , ( part of the scene for me) and you may not find what you had hoped for on your first try. Learn and keep trying !

I was fortunate with my first experience . I wrote a post on Maxfisch.com asking for a Domme who would be interested in my fetish and working with a novice. The truly awesome Mistress Devin replied , she was magnificent. Through a couple of detalied e-mails she understood my needs and then took it from there. I had some great session's with her.
She has since retired and I miss her terribly , but have found great experience's with other independent Dommes and House's .
An independent will require more work on your part , maybe a deposit ? But if you are interested in a continuing realtionship it is best , and may take a few sessions to get it just right for both of you, A house will be easier to schedule and will be a broader less specific experience , but can be excellent and a great place to start,

Thanks for the advice. I checked the site and found a house that I think I want to try. Probably will be better since it offers a broader experience. Now I just need to get up the courage. Thanks again.

The domination hosues I have been to have largely been fantastic. Cops tend to be less interested because there is no "sex" happening there. I found out well after the closure of one house I frequented that the cops were on the payroll.

The other way is to respond to Mistress ads in the paper. Don't expect every experience to be what you want but if you are persistent you will probably find a Mistress with whom you gel.

Check out local clubs. You may find some Dommes there that are approachable. Best thing to do is watch how they interact with other people and then make your judgement from there. If they are nice to the people chatting with them you will know shes right to talk to. Just remember to be respectful and polite. Good luck on your search.
