Police: Woman Stabs Man in Eye with Stiletto

LONDON -- British police say they've charged a 33-year-old woman with stabbing a man through the eye with her stiletto heel.
West Yorkshire Police in northern England say the man was in a critical but stable condition after the woman, with whom he was sharing a cab, assaulted him with the heel of her shoe.
The Sun newspaper quoted neighbors as saying the pair were a couple and had gotten into an argument when she kicked him.
Police declined to comment on that report. The force said Thursday that the woman had appeared in court earlier in the week and was released on bail.
