This happened on the way home from a school trip. The bus was crowded and we were mostly sitting three to a bus seat, which normally took two. Many of the kids were asllep, I was sitting in the ailse seat beside two girls, Joanne and Audrey who was sitting next to the window. Both were wearing jeans and sweaters, Joanne had leather shoes with a T bar type strap, Audrey was wearing white sneakers. A few hours into the long trip I told the girls I was too tired to sit on the seat,
"If you guys lift your feet I'll lie down on the floor, and you can put you feet on the seat rail in front," I told them. I lay down with my head nearest the window, and used a bag for a head rest. I could see the tread patter on Audrey's sneakers as she propped them on the rail on front of her. It was going to be uncomfortable for her to prop them there for long, as I well knew. She leaned forward and looked down at me.
"You OK down there?" she asked.
"Better than up there" I replied. "Look, I don't mind you resting your feet on me, just be careful you don't kick me in the face," I told her.
"Oh no, I won't do that" she exclaimed, but she kept her feet on the rail. I pretended to doze off, but kept looking at her feet.
Joanne had managed to put one foot between my legs, and the other was stretched out over my legs and under the front seat, but there was no room for Audrey to do the same.
After a while i saw her move one of her feet off the rail, and carefully rest it on my chest. She kept it there for a few seconds before moving her other foot to my stomach. She spent most of the rest of the trip with her feet on me.
When the bus stopped she must have forgotten about me, because she actually stood up on my chest and took a step forward onto my stomach. The feel of my body must have made her remember because she sat down quickly and put her feet up on the seat. leaning down she tapped me on the head to wake me up. I told her I was sort of cramped, and could she get out and give me a hand, I hoped she would walk on me but she walked on the seat instead, however she did manage to stand on my foot as she was helping me up.
