myself and some mates, all in our late teens were out sledging,i had an old plastic canoe, went like the clappers on snow!
we had been there about an hour when a group of girls came over too have a go,knew one of them from school, but none of the others, they had seen the boat flying down the hill and fancied a go,so three of them squeezed on board and i got behind to push them over the slope, could,nt budge it,so went round the front to pull it with the rope we had tied on to get it back up,started to creep forward and suddenly pitched over the slope,i ended up falling on my back in the snow, just about to get up and this thing slides right towards me,thought it would stop when it hit me,but it just rode up onto my legs and groin, luckily kept my head out the way, just slid over me as if i was,nt there,by the time it was amidships on me i was completely crushed into the snow, the weight was incredible, still remember the screaming girls faces to this day, they hardly glanced at me,more worried about hurtling down the slope.
be great to set something like this up,easy to do,this happened by accident, did,nt think i was hurt, but next day had a nasty red welt on my stomach, think it was from my belt buckle, ached a bit too.
great memories from long ago! and to think i actually tried to get out the way, what a prat!

Whenever you write something, Americans learn new phrases!
Ok, somebody, lets film this. Nice.
