Birds of Prey is based on a comic book by DC. I don't read it, but i'm aware of it. Apparently 1 of the trio is a former BatGirl, newly renamed Oracle. In the comic, shes a computer genius confined to a wheel chair (apparently they decided to let her stand up for the TV show).
