sklave09, do you work for Staria?

I'm a bit confused about your post. I would absolutely love to see higher resolution pictures on Smother.de like you find some of the staria sites like victorygirls.com. I actually asked Marco about this recently. If your post means smother.de are now doing pictures at that size, I'm going to be overjoyed.

However there's a few things worrying me. The first is that I've never seen you post for Staria before. The second is that the url for those pictures doesn't start with www.smother.de. The third is that I don't think that those pictures look as clear as other Staria high-res pictures I've seen. It almost looks like you could have downloaded the pictures from the site, resized them and uploaded them again for some reason.

Maybe I'm being paranoid. I hope that isn't what happened and that the pictures just didn't come out as quite clear as they normally do, because that would mean more of those very high-res pictures to come in the future.

Hey Dibble,

Sklave09 is just a fan of my site. He made the pics larger byself - they are not original in this size.

In some of the future updates i will start to make the pictures in a larger size.
Maybe i make 2 sitzes of pictures then.

What is your favorite picture size ?

Okay thank for clearing that up, Macro, and thank you for posting the pictures slkave anyway. They were very nice even if they confused me a bit.

My favourite picture size? Well put it this way I’ve never seen a picture I thought was too big. However, the size of the bigger of my two swivel monitors is 1200x1600 pixels and so once the pictures are that size or bigger, it doesn’t make much difference to me.

The only reason for having bigger pictures than that, is that I will probably get a bigger monitor in the future and then it would be nice when I did to be able to see all my favorite pictures in higher-resolution when I do. Bigger pictures also mean I can zoom in for close ups which I like to do sometimes but it’s not a big deal.

Download time and the disk usage for big pictures isn’t something I’m worried about.

It's great news about the new resolution. I can't wait to see it.
