Funny you should mention that. I'm trying to track down Dark Rider right now.

The publisher handling most of Dark Rider's books, A1AdulteBooks is no longer listing them. I understand that there was a problem with these books being sold - something to do with the credit card processor who objected to them; they're a little stronger than most of the books I write and publish, I think.

If anyone knows how to get in contact with Dark Rider or whoever holds the copyright to the books, I would be happy to try to assist with organising alternative outlets for them. susan@strictsusan.com

I don't know. I haven't yet had the opportunity to read the published books by Dark Rider, only the stories in forums.

Practically all retailers featuring "snuff" stories are now unable to sell the books because of the new restrictions imposed by the credit card companies. This also applies to many smothering and facesitting books, and hundreds have been withdrawn from sale.

Whilst I thoroughly agree that anything glorifying or promoting any sort of death or injury should be banned, the current restrictions are, in my opinion, absolutely ridiculous. Worse, they're not even regulations imposed by a properly elected government - they're being imposed by commercial organisations who, I suspect, are being influenced by commercial pressure from mainstream booksellers who can't get into the market for this particular genre of writing/publishing for numerous reasons.

It's now clear that our faces have been sat on by businesswomen and businessmen doing big business for far too long. I wish they'd do their business somewhere else. Perhaps the businesswomen should use the businessmen's faces to do their business instead of us useful people like the carpenters, plumbers, builders, craft workers, doctors nurses, bus drivers etc.. You know the people who actually make the world a better place rather than subject more than two thirds of the worlds population to such grinding poverty through greed and the ruthless pursuit of money.

It's a vicious world out there and some of the exploiters of us are women. Let's work that fantasy into some kind of story.......perhaps a rather filthy, gritty type of story about how low some shameless women will go in order to exploit a gap in the male prostitute market.......:trump

Well, I've heard from Dark Rider, although I don't know yet whether he'll let me re-publish his books. He is, quite rightly, fairly p***ed off that they've banned, to quote his e-mail:

"..stories of murderous warrior amazons in "middle earth" settings that no one could mistake for "reality", whilst turning a blind eye to the fact that many of the stories [that haven't been banned] revel in describing the most vile and appalling treatment of women it's possible to imagine."

And yes, LondonBob, it's the pursuit money that drives most of us. Which, of course, is why I want to publish Dark Rider's books... ;)
