Being out on tour and performing every night was not an easy thing to do but by now, Cheryl Tweedy had gotten used to it and it even felt weird to her when she was not on tour. Perhaps she would have been better off if she had never gotten into the routine of reading local newspapers to pass the time as one day picked up the paper and seen her husband on the front page with some unknown tramp. Cheryl was pissed to say the least. She was hundreds of miles away and missing her husband like crazy, meanwhile he is out messing around with other women. Hardly fair is it? Two more months pass and Cheryl doesn’t even get an apology from her husband. Finally, the tour ends and Cheryl goes home to England to confront her ungrateful husband and make him pay.
Cheryl arrived back home in England at approximately 9:30 am on Monday. The airport was a thirty minute drive on the best of days and a Monday morning is not the best of days. Two hours pass and Cheryl is only now starting to get near home. The closer she gets the madder she gets. Luckily for Ashley, her phone rings along the way and the anger disappears. At twelve midday Cheryl comes home to find her husband sitting in the living room playing on the Xbox 360. Pizza boxes litter the floor as do cans of Cola. Just as well it’s the summer, otherwise Ashley would be in a lot of trouble with his club for not sticking to his diet. Right now however, the diet and his club are the least of his problems. Cheryl goes to Ashley with a smile on her face having formed a plan on the drive home after the phone call from her friend had ended.
Ashley greets Cheryl as if nothing happened while she was away. Perhaps he was hoping she didn’t find out but as we all know, she is not brain-dead like her husband. Cheryl plays the happy wife who is glad to see her husband and Ashley become more relaxed as he thinks he has gotten away with it again. 2:30 pm comes and all that changes as there is a loud knock at the front door. Ashley ignores it meaning Cheryl has to cut her rest period short and answer. Good move Ashley, that'll go down well. Ashley remains in the living room not even caring about who his wife is talking to. He soon cares as a newspaper is dropped onto his lap. Ashley looks down and sees the picture of himself with the unknown girl. Needless to say, the colour drained from Ashley’s face as he see’s Cheryl come around and stand in front of him with her hands on her hips and clearly in a foul mood. Ashley slowly raises his head and makes eye contact with his wife. Ashley is worried but Cheryl simply smiles. Ashley doesn’t know what to think and soon cant think at all as a cloth is held over his mouth and nose. Ashley struggles but Cheryl jumps onto his legs and holds his arms down. Ashley breaths in the chloroform and starts to fade. The last thing he sees is Cheryl sitting on him with a satisfied smile on her face.
